Yeah, it's.. complicated without spoiling anything. He's too rash with his decisions. Hot-blooded is a perfect term to describe him, actually.

Though I will say, he's definitely not so moody during his romance. It's pretty nice so far. He seems genuinely excited about the whole thing.

Anyway, I made a height chart and posted it in the RF4BFC but I was asked to re-post it here:

I just made a corrected height chart to try and get the characters' heights (as accurate as I could get)
Doing the "anime-style proportion = 1:1 ratio between torso and legs" trick, I got these results:

Kohaku: 140cm / 4'8"
Xiaopai: 150cm / 4'11"
Dolce: 160cm / 5'3"
Kiel: 163cm / 5'4"
Doug: 166cm / 5'5"
Margaret: 168cm / 5'5.5"
Chlorica: 169cm / 5'6"
Forte: 173cm / 5'7.5"
Arthur: 180cm / 5'10"
Vishnal: 184cm / 6'0"
Leon: 190cm (w/o ears) / 6'2"
Dylas: 196cm / 6'4"

(I hate inches because they're so inaccurate but w/e :B)

Dolce and Frey are the same height, Xiao is a little shorter than I thought, Arthur is a little taller than I thought.


...I have no idea what height Lest is supposed to be. 170? He doesn't look very tall...

If I were going to make any adjustments I'd prolly shave off 1-2cm from Arthur and Forte's height, but it seems pretty reasonable either way. I have a female friend who's 180cm so it's not like Forte is a giantess or anything.
It would be hilarious if Lest were actually the same height as Frey though and half the girls were taller than him

Thanks again for making that chart, Fin! I think Daisuke should probably add that to the OP with credit to you, since I'm pretty sure quite a few people will find it interesting. (and will probably end up missing it) Seems as accurate of a guess as we'll ever have, since the official guide said absolutely nothing about heights. :/ Nice to see the comparison in visual form.

Haha, actually I use all weapons in equal amounts.. this is (was) so that I could level up weapon skills. One needs to be around (slightly different) skill level 40 for each weapon skill to be able to digest all weapon recipe breads, and skill level 50 to be able to digest all high level weapon recipe breads.

I just got used to multi-wielding so much that it just feels natural now to multi-wield hehe. My highest leveled weapon skill is one handed at 96 though! So no, I'm not a pure mage

I like that they did that with the recipe bread. Whenever I got a new recipe bread to eat, and I wouldn't be able to make the weapon (or cook the dish), it was definitely annoying! >.<

Yeah, Doug gets teased around here quite a bit, but he's not a bad guy. He's a bit irksome in the beginning, but much better later on.

It changes again after marriage too.

On a more family-friendly note, is the reason you guys hate Doug is something irksome he does in the plot? Or perhaps it's just his overall personality? Reminds me of ToD back in the days...everyone in GameFAQs (ok yeah i know) was hampering on Aden due to his overall jerkish personality...ah, those days ^3^

With Doug I think his actions in the plot and his personality are pretty closely intertwined.
He's the hormonal angsty horny teenager character. Poor boy is going through a tough transitional stage in life. -dodges tomatoes from Doug fans-
Really, no, I don't hate him. I just don't like him as much as the others.
