it gives you money, how much has to do with how far you are I think, all I know is it`s money, I never used it before

I don't think the amount of gold you get depends on how far you are, it has stayed the same for me since the beginning of the game. You get around 100 - 400G per play coin a day (real day), the amount they're worth will change every in-game day. You can only exchange 10 play coins at once, no more or less.

Since they're worth around 4,000G at best the feature is only really kind of useful in the very beginning of the game.

in that case they`re as useless as can be to me right now xD I never used them and I wont ever will, I also use my coins for the puzzle swap and find mii games so I have other things to use them for

Updated my short sword to the smash blade and I beat the Crystal Mammoth on my first try! :D Leon and Dylas died so many times but meh, oh well.

Sadly, I'm getting really bored with this. >_> I might take a break and play Pokemon. Rune Prana is not a fun dungeon at all...

I agree. I almost rage quited at every new floor D: After I cleared the game and made my male file,I got super bored and had nothing else to do. I've been playing other games instead,but it's sad to stop playing a game you like a lot like this.

I understand that feeling, even though I may not agree with it. Each floor did take a while, yes, but I never rage quitted from it. I just slogged my way through each of the floors. Maybe it's because I'm playing on Normal. I definitely plan to take a break after I beat the dungeon and before I start the Sharance Maze.

It's not that I'm rage quitting, it's more that...I'm bored with the game. :/ Like there isn't much anymore but Rune Prana. I do want to get married but this random event thing is annoying. I think it's just game fatigue. Haha.

for some reason I feel like I'm crazy when people say where they are I'm so far ahead... I finished Rune Prana around oct 20-21st, I'm level 701 with a max attack(with weapon equiped) of 25k... my entire party has an overall level of over 1800...

EDIT: just tamed level 3200 Aquaticus!!!!!
and a level 2600 Terrable, first try too

Whoa,man. I don't have the patience to grind anymore so the sharance maze kicks my « Mr.Gourmet's hat ». I may try to get the 100 FP dialogue myself later,that new thread made me want to see them.
And good lord,first try Terrable? Can I borrow some luck?

I dont train in sharance, turning up the difficulty and going through the 3 rooms to the right of the 7th Prana over and over again(with an insane weapon range) levels me up pretty fast, I went from 663 to 700 in a single game day

it was more then just luck, I used the brushing trick, and I had dual blades with the love ability, the rune ability "rail strike" is really good for hitting the opponent multiple times at once, I spammed that on him for a while then threw the turnip heaven ^w^ and it worked, I`m going for the fire guy next =w= just wait till I try going for a 10k monster... once I can survive getting through a 10k maze my goal will be to tame a 10k native dragon

EDIT: ok maybe it was luck, cuz I`m having no luck now

maybe, even after getting to level 1000 I still have other goals, like the shipping list, the vacation house(I`m less then 15mill away), 2500 tourists, oh so much to do xD after you get to Rune Prana 7 it`s really easy to level up if you have the right equipment, all you need is time, and quite a bit actually xD

Whaaat. I loved Rune Prana. It was my favorite dungeon in the game and I breezed through it once I had decent equipment. I liked the difficulty spike.

Though I definitely see why some people might not like it. If you're not properly equipped/levelled, it can be a chore.
