It's official! (release date + a question)
I'm so glad there's an official release date ^^
It just seems so much more official now whenever I hear a release date, like it's not just something I'll hope to have maybe...eventually...
I already pre-ordered it and would rather have a free yak plushie than the cow, so I'm fine with that. So many good games are coming out in the fall, I can't wait ^^

I'm confused by something...DracoShadow wrote:a) You can get a FREE Plush Yak by pre-ordering Harvest Moon: A New Beginning from participating retailers, such as GameStop (GameStop.com), Amazon.com, and Walmart.com. Be sure to double check before pre-ordering that they are offering the Free Plush Yak. In addition, you can also pre-order at Natsume.com starting on September 24th, 2012. The retail price is $39.99. Retailers will not ship outside North America.
Why is it that everywhere I can see that GameStop has the yak plushie, except...
gamestop.com.
There is no mention of it there or on Amazon either. I mean, they both have the game for pre-order (unlike walmart.com), but neither of them mention the yak. So I'm little worried when Natsume says, "double-check before pre-ordering that they are offering the Free Plush Yak."
Could someone who understands more how this works explain it to me? I mean, do they retroactively apply free yaks to people who order before the retailer announces that it is available?
Thanks!!!

Man, I haven't been to Ushi in a couple of days, and now I have come back to the ANB official release date!
I'm so pumped right now!! Can't wait for November, I just really hope they don't push the date back that would really stink.
I'm putting my faith in you Natsume,Please don't disappoint me! I don't think I'm getting the anniversary edition though, don't really want to pay ten extra dollars just for a plushie, even if it is adorable.

I'm pretty sure only gamestop has the pre-order yak plushie, and if you pre-order it from gamestop, you should receive the plushie weather you pick it up at the store itself or have it shipped to you. I've never actually pre-ordered any games myself I'm only going by my friends experiences for pre-ordering so you might want that confirmed by someone who has.Merridwyn wrote:I'm confused by something...DracoShadow wrote:a) You can get a FREE Plush Yak by pre-ordering Harvest Moon: A New Beginning from participating retailers, such as GameStop (GameStop.com), Amazon.com, and Walmart.com. According to them, Gamestop, Amazon, and Walmart should be offering the yak. You may want to check, though. Natsume is also offering the yak. I would ask, personally. I find it weird that they aren't mentioning it. If you're so worried about it, you should order from Natsume's store, as I don't think they would forget to give you your plushie. =)Natsume: You can get a FREE Plush Yak by pre-ordering Harvest Moon: A New Beginning from participating retailers, such as GameStop (GameStop.com), Amazon.com, and Walmart.com. I've never pre-ordered online, but I have heard that it comes in the mail along with the game. If you pre-order from a store, when you pick up the game, you will get your plushie then. Make sure you ask though! The worker at the store might forget. I nearly had it happen before.

But wouldn't you rather have a game with very few minor glitches that gets released late, rather than a glitchy mess, or a game with horrible, massive glitch that was released on time?
We should give Natsume time to remove the glitches. I don't want anything like the missing child glitch or the Calvin glitch to be in ANB.
