I have found a way around this dilemma ^^. My bday is in 4 days so I am getting my brother to preorder the version with the yak and my parents preorder the version with the cow, and my bffs day is soon after so i am going to give her one of the games but keep the plushies for myself as a "present" from her to me

Y'all, I just pre-ordered the game at Gamestop, but now I just found out that you can only get the yak by pre-ordering from Gamestop.

To get the cow, you must pre-order from the Natsume website, starting on September 24th.


BUT: Why is it that Gamestop says the release date is October 23, but Natsume says it's November 6????
Is it because the 15th Anniversary edition (featuring the cow plushie) comes out later for some reason?? Idk but I'm confused.....

Anyways.. I guess I'll be withdrawing my pre-order now. >_> I want that cow dammit.

Actually, you can get either the yak or cow (or both) from preordering on Natsume's website. http://www.natsume.com/store/index.html. The yak is not exclusive to Gamestop. I do already have the game pre-ordered at Gamestop, though, but I'll probably pre-order the anniversary one too, because I want both plushies.

I already pre-ordered the game from gamestop about a month ago so I'll have the yak.

I might try to convince my mom to buy it online although so we can also get the cow (we are both harvest moon nerds)

but for now all I see is the yak in my future.
