The Harvest Goddess will only appear early morning to tell you about a game mechanic, like marriage or the wi-fi system. It's only happened twice if I recall correctly.
You can summon her at her pond and she will do the annoying "Dum da Daa!" but it's two lines of talking about the item you threw in then she's gone for the day.
And OMG SORRY JUST THOUGHT OF ANOTHER QUESTION (last one, I promise!): does it take long to shear sheep/milk cows/brush livestock? Because in GB and TToT it took quite a while, so is it just as long in this game?
