They teleport. I find it rather annoying that I might just be a few seconds late entering their house to give them something, and they teleport into the mountain areas.
But I like the fact that if you were already in the house at say, 09:55 when they are to leave at 10:00, you DO actually see them walk out the door.
But it doesn't apply for areas outside houses, it seems. If there were people walking around the town at 10:00 at night, as long as you don't leave the map, they will continue to walk around. Even if you stand around til 3 am or something, they still won't leave, until you leave the map.

Wow. I'm actually starting to get interested in this game again lol. I really like the fact that you can actually see you husband/waifu sleep with you(if i'm correct here). They do that now right? I kinda missed when you can see them sleeping. It's pretty cool how they now talk too xD.
H-hey. Haha I eat for 2 hours. It's pretty normal in my house lol. In our conversations, we tend to get lost and forget the time so.....yeah.

Aww... They teleport? That's so sad. Anyway, I could live with it.teddybearyt wrote:They teleport. I find it rather annoying that I might just be a few seconds late entering their house to give them something, and they teleport into the mountain areas.

They teleport. And they won't leave a screen if you are on it from what I've seen so they manage to do it when you change area. If you don't then they will just stay in one area for a long, long time. (like on your farm, well into the night).cinnamon_yuki wrote: Do they actually walk to their destination or magically teleport from place to place?

I really don't like the walking system in this game. They teleport to random places at lightning speed, but will stay in that area forever if you are there. If you stay at someone's house, they won't go to bed until you walk out of the house and back in. So, I find it interesting how they stop eating and then leave the house. Why add that little feature, yet make everything else unrealistic?
I would've appreciated if the walking system was more like in Animal Crossing, where while it was random, the villagers still walked in and out of their homes.

Stores close during storms though. However, in most HM games, you can't go outside during a storm (only one I can think of is AWL). So, it's not a loss, but actually a gain. You can still give people gifts and take care of your animals.fantasygamer wrote:I liked the fact that the stores don't close during rainy days. Unlike one game we know...

I love how the villagers have random schedules. I mean, it's not like this person is going to be at the Diner until 2, walk outside for a bit and then head home EVERYDAY. And of course the Witch Princess would sleep in as opposed to waking up at 6 a.m.! I also love that you can eat with your spouse and turn them into a kitchen slave even though you get a slight reward for cooking the meal yourself (leftovers). PLUS, your boyfriend/girlfriend might even give you food when you have low stamina (I'm not quite sure about this even though I THINK Fin said something about it).

Not too bad thankfully. They have their little heads on your minimap. And I just realised that if you tap the lower ds screen the minimap changes and shows you the entire area, including all wilderness areas so you can find those missing teleport people when you need them.runefactor wrote: It's gonna be hard to track them.
