Know what I like?

It may be a tiny stupid detail, but it's one that's overlooked too easily in my opinion:
The villagers eat. They take time out of their day to sit for an hour and eat a meal. I think that's an awesome detail.
Another thing I like? Their schedules are somewhat random. They have a variation in the places they visit every day and it adds to the challenge of getting them to like you. It's harder to plan a route through the village in order to visit everyone and you have to think more, which is cool. It spices up the day a little and makes it harder to fall into a rut with your routine.
Anything else tiny that you guys noticed that stuck out to you?

I liked the fact that the stores don't close during rainy days. Unlike one game we know...

I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't mind that feature in ToTT, hahaha! It made the game more of a challenge.

Villagers don't all wake up at the same time, either. I LOVE that.

I like all of those features and that you can bacily shape your town how you like, I know its an obvious thing but I just think its really cool

I like that too! Makes the game feel so much more realistic.

They do have their meal times for 2 hours so it's not too realistic. It never takes me that long to eat a meal.
The only problem is when they're eating you can't give them an item. So if it's a villager's birthday you have to wait till they're finished.
Although a cool thing is if you do wait for them to finish, they will stand up and start walking out the room.

Yep, this feature is a pain in the *childrens forum*. Wanting to go home and achieve something but having to stand for 2 minutes while they eat before they can accept gifts is a pain. Having them teleport around the world so that you leave them behind you when you walk out of the wilderness only to have them magically appear in their house in front of you breaks the immersion far more than them not eating. I don't like it at all.

Maybe I'm weird, but I don't find waiting for them to finish all that much of a bother. There's a lot of waiting in Harvest Moon for me. Waiting for shops to open, waiting for people to leave their houses, waiting for a festival to start... and on and on it goes.
I find it realistic enough to where it gives them more of a human-esque feel. Less like I'm talking and interacting with cardboard cutouts. Yeah, the two hour meal thing is sort of weird but in anything that functions on a different timeline than real life, it's going to be off kilter.
Like, in the Sims, you can listen to the radio and a full 3 minute song. 3 minutes in real life is 3 Sim hours, yeah? However, having a full song like that is much better than having a random chunk of music blip on and off every two seconds. If the villagers sat and ate for a reasonable amount of in-game time, there'd be no point in making them do it in the first place since it would almost be a nonexistent action.
It'd be cool if they added more stuff like that. Like having people do chores around their houses on the weekends even if it's only someone walking around in circles with a lawn mower on the front lawn, or someone standing in their house whacking a table with a feather duster acting like they're dusting. Or you know... have my damn spouse wash the dishes or something else that's useful looking.

Very interesting! They eat meals now and they have random schedule? It seems it becoming very realistic. Though this will prove to be a challenge when you are wooing a person who move all the time. :\
I have a question. Do they actually walk to their destination or magically teleport from place to place? This is the only thing that bothers me in Animal Parade, it's like my character is the only person in the whole village who walks to and fro? It would be actually nice to see them go from one place to another.

i like the fact that you can go into thier houses when they sleep. not realistic to just walk in, but real nice...
Admit it, you all are going to walk into the house of your favorite bachelor/ette and listen to them talk in their sleep.... please don't tell me I'm the only one D:

I like that they talk in their sleep too. I'm going to creep into everyone's bedroom at night and stand over them.XD
