I agree I would love to have the money earning a little hard but not too hard it adds a little challenge to it and it should have a little fighting like Rune Factory...though I may be going a little overboard....xD though I would love if it had fighting,bossses,rivals,immortals, animals fight for you,children and wife/husband helping you out a little, a lot more festivals,a lot more events,a lot more requests,a lot more love/random/rival events, furnishings and more...
it would keep the player busy and get not so bored easily and makes you player a lot longer because it's more interesting :]

Every harvest moon game has a bathroom and restroom, because it restores your hp a little and take your time.
Example:
Restroom 10% of your hp - 10 minutes
Bathroom 30% or your hp - 30 minutes

I actually like having house upgrades :/ And I also agree that the money shouldn't be too easy to get..
It's a shame that you can't move the furniture around though; that's one thing I loved about MM.
