I THINK we can change stuff like the wallpaper and build furniture but I'm only 89% sure. However, I do know that there are no house upgrades.

You can change the style of your walls, flooring, and your furniture. You can't move your furniture around, though.

There's actually one house upgrade that adds things like a bathroom.

The bathroom isn't a necessity though, because characters never seem to have to go.

Is the bathroom necessary to do stuff like marrying and having babies?

I don't think so...

If it isn't I'll take a while to upgrade my house...

Basically that. Sicne the kids don't so anything really, it's basically like "Pay 1 million gold and I'll build you a robot"

I think a million gold is way too expensive to only put a bathroom in your house, and your child won't even use it. Neither your husband. Neither some MCs.
So I think 200k is good enough, or less.

Yeah, I agree with zaria.

@Peachy If they built us a REAL robot I would have happily paid 500k for it because I'm a cheapskate.
