My MC is always Krin, boy or girl. A gazillion years ago I played with keyboard vomit until I came up with Kirin as a name to use all over the internets. I thought it was totally unique and couldn't possibly be anything because I made it with keyboard vomit. Turns out it's all kinds of things, haha. Kept running into this other lass on various forums and things who would be mad because she called Kirin was her own unique thing as well. So we had a contest to see who could keep using the name annnnd I lost, so I just dropped an i to make her mad xD and I've kept it since! My real name is a girl and boy name, so I don't bother coming up with something for the other gender~ /long random story

I pick an theme for my chickens, like I just did fruits in veggies for my shiny new HOLV, and then the first pet's name is an A name that fits the theme and then B, C, etc. But way back when I was a tiny farmer, I rented HM64 every weekend and would use my chickens to make messages to the other people who rented the game...usually just "Please, don't, save, over, mine" lol. Totally never worked! And once I did favourite bands for my chickens because magical melody doesn't have a horrible character restriction~

I can't pick a child's name yet because the marriage candidates all look so meh to me. ;_;

I haven't decided on a name yet. I'm planning on probably playing as a boy at first so I can marry my Princess, but since I'm obsessed with getting all of the clothes in every HM game that has them, he'll probably be a cross-dresser, so I'm thinking of either going with a unisex name (I'm currently leaning towards either Morgan, Sandy, or Casey), or something that sounds super-manly (like Brock or Bruce or Asskicker McGee).

Then again, if I decide to play as a girl, I'll definitely give her a unisex name because I tend to prefer unisex names for girls. Either that or I'll just give her a straight up boy's name that I think could work as a girl's name, like Davy.

For everything else, I'll probably just pick random names based on whatever I'm obsessed with at the time (though I have a sneaking suspicion my animals are going to end up being named after Dwarves).

I'll name my girl MC after myself. I have a unisex name so I could name my boy or girl character after me, but I find that strange. I might give my boy char the default Japanese name. I forgot what that was, though.
And, I'll name my daughter Lil. I didn't put much thought into it.

I lack creativity for my animals'/livestocks' names!

I just wish for enough space so I can name my sheep Barbara. >( I guess I'll settle with something like...Fluffy.
