How many dogs, cats and horses can we have(EACH?)

You can only build 1 pet barn, so you have a max number of 4 cats/dogs. You only can have 1 horse.

Cats, Dogs, and the Horse can be sold back to Rod.

I believe the horse stays in your barn, in which case it shouldn't. I remember someone saying they sold it to get another alpaca.
