Is there a way to get around having kids, but still get your full house expansions and a husband ?

Once she moves in, you can change your eyes or skin color by visiting the Witch with either a poison mushroom, a blueberry, or a grape flavored item (e.g., grape juice) in your rucksack. From what I've heard, you don't have to give it to her, just have it in your bag. Her shop opens at 12pm.
lmfao -- I haven't heard that they comment on that, so I doubt it. They do make comments on your clothes, though (certain characters will comment on certain outfits).
It would be pretty funny to go home to your spouse and suddenly be a totally different skintone, though. "Honey, what happened??" "Just tanning, darling! |3"
I wish the villagers and marriage candidates had different clothing options too.

That would be nice! Even if it was just sprite changes, and not how they appear when you talk to them. That's one of the things I loved about DS Cute ^^
It took me a while to realize it, though, because I walked into the mine one day, and Carter was wearing pink... I didn't think that was normal, but that's when I started to realize that a lot of people changed clothes ^^ Gray and Kai are other really noticeable ones.
