I'm in year 3 right now, and although I'm still working on raising the islands and doing house upgrades, I'll most likely be done by the year of year 3.

My boyfriend and I are each playing through, little chunks at a time. We'll play until a certain point by a certain date, and then spaz about what we did during that time. But my problem is, my boyfriend plays HM games at a much slowerrrrrr pace. He JUST got married to Lanna in Year 3 Spring, whereas I got married to Denny in Year 1 Winter.

So I need things to keep focused, since I've lost interest in SI in the past when I finished everything big to do. Any ideas of stuff I could do?

It's why I don't like to marriage early in the game, you get bored easily after it :'(

Nah, can't you?:
-Complete your fish list
-Searching more sunstone to raise all islands
-Complete your item list
-Go mining for searching some interesting item
-Befriend with the villager and you see their random event
-Befriend with animal and they will find something for you
-Stalking someone ;D

I like to get married ASAP so I can see my child grow up. Takes TWO freaking years is SI, whyyyyy? OTL

Oh that's right! I had completely forgotten about the animals! I'll definitely befriend them~
I'm not sure about completing some of those lists though...they're so difficult sometimes. Maybe though. o3o;;

I usually try filling up my animal barn and chicken coop as much as I can. I don't know why, but I like seeing a full house.
I also find simply trying to befriend Mark/Chelsea as a challenge enough since they're neutral to EVERYTHING.

Otherwise, I'd suggest finishing the fishing list, seeing how far you can go in the mine, and befriending the wild animals from Ru's list. Those are what kept me going

That's because it's difficult you keep busy with them right? O3o

Yeah I agree with Ru-Ne-Ni-Chaan,these stuff take quite a while to completely,so you could do these or you can complete the random events list or rival events.
