Does anyone know which floor where you could get gems with 6 quality dots the soonest? I'm in my winter so is that possible?

For win the mining festival in winter you need a high quality ore, it mean you don't must enter valuable gem even junk ore with high quality can help you win the festival.

For getting that gem you can start finding high enough quality ores around the 150th floor of the mine. Of course the deeper you go the better your chances of finding higher quality items and don't forget about your mining degree.

Well, if you want to win the mining festival, that floor really I recommend for getting high quality ore.

Just practice and make sure you bring enough food if you want to go there :D

Yeah, maybe I'll stick with harvesting gelatin and so-so ores for now. *hoarding eggs*

Actually, you will definitely fail the contest if you submit junk ore, even if it has high quality.

There's always the option of befriending the mice on Animal Island and have them mine for you. They can find pretty impressive quality ores and gems. Although if you're in winter already, that's likely not an option for you. But you could still always befriend them for next year.

I kind of derped and raised mystic island first. I should really look up the site first before doing something major.
