My card still hasn't been charged, but I didn't order until September 27th, so I think I will probably get this later than some others.
I realized last night (but was too tired to update) another possible explanation for GameStop's behavior so far. GameStop guarantees that pre-orders with overnight shipping will have the game on the day of release. That means that all of GS's overnight shipping preorders need to be packed and shipped out by the day before the street date. It seems likely that they are holding off on greenlighting in-store releases until they can get all of the pre-orders packaged.
Ashley, what do you think about this? Also, thirding (fourthing?) that you need to get an account ;P

@Ducki & Faith, that's awesome, I live about four hours from both Austin and San Antonio, I'm just outside of Houston. My brother on the other hand Lives just outside of Austin in Hutto, he's a band director.
I'll check my local gamestop later this afternoon while I'm hanging out from a friend and see if they know anything, I really can't wait for the game.

That's very strange. It was always the 6th (unless Canada has a 1 day delay)... I live in Maryland. I haven't heard anything from my local Gamestop, but I'm still stopping by there later today while I'm out running errands.
If Gamestop doesn't have it, I may check Target and Wal Mart while i'm out. I want this game NOW!

Yeah, Canada is always a day later. I always assumed it was just because it takes longer to ship to stores and such. But it's weird that they changed it on the site.
And I was having no problem waiting for this game until they changed the damn date. Now it feels like it's taking longer because of the not knowing! D;

I've been stalking this thread for a long time now, and I've just decided to log on because of the creepiness factor of it all... 
Anyhoo, I just want to thank Emurii for consolidating all of the recent developments of the GS pre-ordering fiasco in one place! It makes everything so much easier knowing where to find up-to-date information and what not. I'm anticipating my game from GS along with everybody else in this thread, and it certainly makes the wait much less tiresome (knowing that there are others in the same boat/ship/land/state/continent that are eagerly waiting for any kind of news).
I just want to thank everyone for contributing to this thread! You guys are all awesome sauce
~ On another note...I wonder if there is any member in this thread within a 25 mile radius of Los Angeles who is waiting for the game like I am?
