Also, another question... would you guys recommend fertilizing your crops as soon as you can or would it be better to wait a while?

For the crop festivals, I'd recommend just fertilizing the one you need. Once you have the seed maker you can throw fertilizer everywhere. At least that's how I'm doing it. I buy 99 at a time and do at least one square a plot.

Thanks for the responses. Guess I'll stick to only fertilizing the festival crop 'til I get the maker shed. I'll have more money for fertilizer and hopefully more storage space for everything by the time I start.

A question about clippers.
I just bought a sheep from Neil. I am still in Summer, but I unlocked them early by moving Yuri in.
From Cher's guide:

The Clippers will be given to you after you buy a Sheep from Neil's shop, which are not available until at least Fall of year 1 and you have unlocked Yuri.

Given makes it sound like they are a free gift. I did not get a pair of clippers when I bought my sheep. Do I have to wait until Fall 1st to get the clippers, or is this caused by some other issue?

So I read in the guide that if you're dating someone, and your stamina is 2.5 hearts, your boy/girlfriend will give you a cooked item ^^

But that didn't happen with me D: I talked to Sengoku when my stamina was at like, 1 heart, and he didn't give me anything. Should it say husband/wives instead of 'sweetheart' or can you only go talk to them at certain times of the day (well, once a day I know), or am I missing something else?

Maybe it's just him? o.o? I get one everyday from Neil and its uber cute. ;.; He is like "You look so tired. Oh, am i forgetting something? Here!" <3 I am just dating not married yet.

No, it's not just him. When I was dating Rod I didn't get anything either even though it was around lunch and I only had 1 heart stamina. Could've been because it was the same day though, I didn't save because I just wanted his confession/lover dialogue.

In the Japanese version, people would always talk about their boyfriends and girlfriends cooking for them... Maybe the stamina is supposed to be even lower? Because, I know they cook for you... Or, they're supposed to, at least.

Is there any point to putting fertilizer on fodder? I forget if it has star levels or not...

Not really. Fodder has no star levels so no need to waste your fertilizer on it.

You never need to water fodder. It grows completely by itself, and grows back the next day after you cut it!
