Hello whoever is reading this,

I am trying to catch the last bugs I need to complete the goal of obtaining every bug. The last two I need are Bear Cicada and Orange Ladybug. I have read Cher's guide and it stated you need honey on the tree. So, I have been using regular honey and resting to hopefully come across them, but no luck still. So my question, is there a certain honey I have to use in order to get those two?

Does anyone know if talking to animals over wifi actually increases hearts? I'm working on making my cows love me. When I talk to them over wifi, I hear the sound that happens when I usually gain hearts, however I don't see hearts float above their heads like I do when brushing and milking.

@ForbiddenWolf - I know I got the orange ladybug off of the honey tree so I know it's possible.... I think I used Royal Jelly though. Don't know for sure that it's required, but that's what I used.

@Bronwynn - I am not sure, unfortunately. I had been assuming that since no hearts appear that just talking to them did not raise affection, but I suppose there's not really any easy way to tell. Maybe try talking to the same animal twice in the same wifi session and see if you get the sound you're talking about both times? I'd say if you get the same sound both times then it probably doesn't raise affection, and if you get a different sound both times, then the first one raises affection. *spitballing*

Sometimes it happens very quickly, but you do see the floating hearts the first time you brush and harvest from them.

I'm pretty sure you have to use Royal Jelly.

How much fish food do I have to throw at my shed fish to raise their star levels? Is it dependent on the fish, like breed time?

I have to wait till the next season to claim my last bug to complete my list, but really wanted you both to know how grateful I am for your help. Thank you again.

@BlueTrillium Thanks for your answer. I'm assuming it does nothing. Sad because my cow takes forever to gain hearts.

Unrelated, but I wish that there was a way to slow time. There's too much to do in this game and I'm struggling to keep myself in control. Also, way too many animal varieties. They take forever since time doesn't stop indoors.

My Yaks produce 5 products, but I notice that they didn't get "giant" sized. Do yaks not get bigger? And does this happen to Llamas too?

Yes unfortunately, you are right in your guess. Both the Yak and Llama will not get bigger like all your livestock on the game even though they have meet the requirements to do so.

When it comes to moods/personality of an animal (not a chicken) when it gives birth, can the baby from it have a different mood than the parent or is the mood passed down?

Do you have to have animals to do multiplayer? I'm considering selling all of my animals after I finish the town renovations and get the clothes I want.
