Garden festival

So I finally participated in my first garden festival (Fall 11th 1st year) and 8 people came.... They didn't like my design
they gave me the ... thought cloud, dissed my garden and gave me 756G lol
any way to make it better? or just wait for more blueprints -___-

At least They paid you, last one i participate in they made me cry and gave me no money!

You did good getting a ... and some money for the first time! It's usually the angry cloud and 0g for me most of the time.
I've recently worked out a base design that works and gets me 6000g each time, even if it's not perfect and if I don't repeat the same design. (Which is tricky, I might try repeating last years design.)

It's not completely the same as I suck at this type of picture, but I'll take a real picture later to show you. You need lattice all the way round and the fence to be just inside. The statue of anything really, usually an animal. A fountain in the middle and an arch to high light it all. It needs to be symmetrical and even the spaces symmetrical.
I just follow that basic plan, changing the fence type or post and it usually works though not perfect.

I also got the thinking bubbles "..."
On my first one, and got 1480G from it~
The only things that were in it were some wooden fences, wooden arch, barrels and boxes that I collected from the town, and the milk cans that used to be by Neils house.

I got 64G by dumping a bush in the corner. Maybe I'll try next season, just maybe. Until they everyone can gaze at my magnificent gardening space.

Try to fit a recurring theme with a little extra flaire :D First time I did it, I got 7000 and change, and Rod just gave me a suggestion of putting flowers- everything was made from material stone/small material stone. :3
