DarkRecon- I'm not sure if some of them were there from before, but his sleeping tendencies/sleeping while working... the poor thing! (though imagining it is pretty hilarious). Feel bad for him about the motion sickness though.

Currently stuck in a dentist office waiting on someone. Got really bored. Decided to try out the free trial Sketchpad App on my iPad. It's really hard to color with my stubby finger. All my lines are awkwardly smushy with the pad of my finger on the screen, ehehehe. D8 Stock background is Seraphic's on DA.
EDIT: also, that's a panel from Sama's Just a Thought comic! I assumed people have read it, but just want to make sure I give due credit.

Ya lived in a small city with her parents and deceased little brother.Her little brother died 5 years before she came to Echo Village.Ya and her brother liked to collect flowers from the neightbors gardens,but one day when he was collecting flowers for a contest,he misteriously disappeared.One week later he was found dead near a flower shop.After this,Ya started to hate flowers and felt guilty for his brother death.It din't help that her name meant ''flower of all flowers''. She dislikes being called by her real name and insists that people call her Ya.
5 years later,her father send her to Echo Village to take over his farm,while her mother din't like the idea,Ya did not object.
When she came to Echo Village,she din't really liked the idea of having to do everything to revitalize it,but there's really nothing she can do against it.
She started to lack off work a bit and came to talk with the people about her age.She was a little reluctant at first,but slowly she made lots of friends around the town and even attended festivals more often.
When more people came to town,she fell in love with Neil,the animal seller.Not too long after they started dating.They both where nervous and shy with each other...In Winter 2,Neil proposed to her.Marriage wasn't in her plans but she loved Neil too much to let this chance go,so in Winter 9 they had the marriage cerimony.
Recently she found out that she's pregnant with Neil's child.The only thing she's really worried about is the child height,if he's taller that her it will be problematic...

Thank you! It was so hard, my fingers were hankering for a pen the entire time, ahahaha. D: Luckily it was pretty easy shapes to color and I didn't need to do anything with fine lined detail shadows or anything terribly crazy with color blending, And really? I can't believe it, how in the world do you get such perfect lines? 8O

Hey, no, I love reading heart events and I really like the idea of having a character be open to any side for romance. I'm looking forward to it. ^^

OHMYGOD Jeanne!!! That looks absolutely beautiful!!! You did a wonderful job coloring it, especially using your fingers. >.> I can't color period, still working on it lol. But beautiful, beautiful work!! I love the fact you even made sure to add shading. I would have gotten lazy after doing all that work xD

I said I'd do a younger Xilan at some point, no? And I was feeling kind of angsty so it worked out! So have older Xilan reflecting on her past a little. I kind of got carried away with the flower symbolism though; I used to adore that stuff, ahahaha. From left to right, if you can't read my cramped handwriting: Aloe: grief, Wormwood: bitter grief/sorrow, Fungus: Resilience/sorrow, Rue: Regret, Rosemary: Remembrance, and Snowdrop: Hope. Hope you like, and tell me if I should do more plant-y symbolism stuff (since this is a farming game, ahaha).

...a stylus makes so much more sense, ahahaha. XD What kind do you use, because I know iPads are stupidly fickle about what creates signal and what doesn't. More than once I had to freeze my hands by taking off my gloves to type out directions. Dx

I use a stylus as well, but mine came from Walgreens. It works pretty well and it was only about $6. ^^ Plus there are colour choices. Mine is green.

Anyway, glad to see that you liked my drabble, Sama! :D And thanks for the compliment, Jeanne. I've been in this stupid everything-rut, so...
And you did that with your finger and an iPad? o.O And I almost flipped poop like a pancake (don't ask) when I saw that you two did your work on iPads as well (the stylus must reeeaaallllyyy help, though).
Anyway, I'm still trying to get used to digital art, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. XD

@Jeanne: Right now I'm using a Targus brand rubber-tip stylus. It's my favorite of the ones I've tried so far.
I had to re-do this 3 times because Ushi din't want to post it.
