Sam is a cheery young lady who always tries to look on the bright side. Somewhat selfless, she likes to put everyone before herself and make everyone around her happy. She can't stand to see someone upset or in need of help. Sam is very generous and thoughtful and is more than willing to give up her time to help others. Nothing makes her happier than making others happy.

Always busy running around doing farm work or foraging for things, Sam works from morning till late at night. She's very new to this lifestyle of farming and physical labor but tries her very best to make the most out of it. Of course she isn't used to this life, after all, she had lived a very pampered life before coming to Echo Village.

Coming from a very wealthy family, Sam never had to do any hard work. She had dresses and diamonds and fancy food BUT she lived a very strict, controlled life with many rules. There was always someone to make choices for her and she never really got a say in anything(not that anyone listened to what she had to say). Still, she was thankful for what she had nonetheless. She tried to stay positive and was content with her life but she felt something was missing.

ANYWAY, Sam had lived a sheltered yet very luxurious life up until her coming of age. Her Mother surprised her with an arranged marriage(hahahaha)! And to her dismay, the man she was betrothed to was a wealthy old sleaze with a snotty attitude who only saw Sam as a trophy to flaunt to his rich friends. Sam had always followed her parent's wishes and she knew that her Mother wanted the best for her with this arrangement but Sam couldn't even bring herself to hold a conversation with said Wealthy Jerk. So she stood up for herself for the very first time and told her Mother and Father that there was no way she'd marry such a sleaze(he really was a huge jerk!) And then she went on to say that she would like to be free to make her own choices and get away from all these strict rules, even just for a bit, even if she had to give up the pretty gowns and shiny jewels. She begged for her freedom, her independence, for chance to get away from all these expectations(alas the sheltered princess life was too much for her)! Her Father(she gets her pink hair from him hehe) seeing how passionate and determined his precious daughter was about this decided to make her a deal. He told her of his old farm and the quaint little village(*cough* ghost town) it was in. Her eyes sparkled at the sound of such a peaceful place. A simple life surrounded by nature, she had only read about it in her books. The deal was, if she was able to make it on her own and tend to the farm as well as help the village to flourish, then she would be granted her freedom. If she were to fail, she'd come back home and become the wife of Mr. Wealthy Jerk. Her Mother protested, her fragile daughter could never make it out on her own. Especially not on a farm where there'll be inevitable manual labor *gasp*. But Sam could not be shaken. She had her heart set on a simple life. This is exactly what she needed. It was exactly what she was looking for, exactly what had been missing from her.

She packed her bag(none of her fancy clothes could fit into the little knapsack. but oddly enough, it was able to hold branches and rocks and flowers and bugs and whatever else she foraged. odd huh) and made her way to Echo Village. She got lost a bunch of times(but little did she know that her parents sent someone to secretly make sure that she got there safely heh) but finally made it to her location. The first thing she did was run around and admire ~nature~ and just when she was going to seek out help to get to her new farm, Dunhill passed out in front of her(what a coincidence. running into her parent's old friend heh)

And so her life on Kawaii Farm started. Farm life was hard on her, she didn't know how to till soil or cut grass or do any of that! But the villagers helped her out and made her feel at home. And though she misses her Me and Pa, she has found family even here in Echo Village
She works hard so she can prove to everyone that she isn't just some spoiled brat with a pretty face. She strives to make her own success and to make Echo Village the best that it can be. She also hopes to find love on her own and hopes to meet the man of her dreams(rather than Mr. Wealthy Jerk, the man of her nightmares).

Aged 22, Birthdate Fall 30th

A young man skilled beyond his years in a variety of arts. North is a bit of an introvert, easily perceived as cold and aloof, but has an undeniable kind streak that ultimately draws people to him. He seems incapable of ignoring someone in need, even though he'll protest or act indifferent all the while. In his own words, he'd call himself a "hopeless sucker". But we all know he loves it.

Somewhat of an odd fit for a farmer, likely because he's not a farmer at all. Hailing from a far-off land -- less peaceful than that of Echo Village's country -- North is a man who was known locally as a 'Hero' for his deeds during a past contention. A legend began to build around him, and he wanted nothing more than to separate himself from it as fast as possible, and live a quiet, simpler, life. Somewhere where he could freely practice isolation.

There was an old man acquainted with North who had a solution: a particular plot of acereage he owned, back in his homeland. He offered it to North, explaining that was the ideal setting for someone seeking solitude, what with the town's population being deep in the single digits these days. North was reluctant to accept a gift of such significance, but the old man was insistent -- arguing that he would rather it be of use to someone, than sitting there unused for the rest of time. In the end, the offer was finally accepted.

He's always been a fast learner, and he felt he could pick up this 'ranching' thing soon enough as well. Already a survivalist by necessity, North is best at foraging in the wilderness, weathering harsh conditions, and cooking up a good meal. That will last him until the rest falls in place, he figures. And so, he set off.

To North's slight surprise, he found his presence to be expected. The old man had sent a letter ahead announcing his arrival, and making the peculiar claim that North was his son -- presumably to make him more immediately welcome by the town's dwindling residents. North found himself somewhat annoyed by his friend's message... not because of the familial assertment, but because he can't shake the feeling that it also suggested something ELSE... from the way Dunhill and some of the villagers appear to be expecting 'great things' from him...

North became worried that the old man secretly roped him into some wild scheme.

Personality: Extreme tsundere, to the point she's mean and somewhat foul-mouthed, but behaves ladylike in front of adults she deems "respectable".
Backstory: Little Vivian was getting tired of her strict education and becoming rebellious and selfish (a sort of self-defense?), when she heard about the deserted village and realized it would be SO much more fun to revitalize a town than being the mayor of the already-established and somewhat old-fashioned Castanet. So basically, she wanted to try her luck living by herself (and to play « Harvest Goddess » xD) even though she was only sixteen, but things there were much worse than she had thought -- she did want to revitalize the town, but there was nothing there at first place!

She clung to Hana, a "respectable woman", and attempted to become a decent farm girl, but ended up disliking the job and thinking she really wasn't suited for it... Until she met someone as mean and harsh as her, a blond animal dealer who was the polar opposite of the gentle lady (Renee) back at her hometown. He scolded her for being such a town girl and still trying to run a farm, then told her she was a failure as a farmer, and so her childish side made her try her best in order to prove him wrong. Of course she didn't realize it yet, but she's falling hard for him.

Now she talks to her parents through letters and occasional phone calls, and all three are starting to realize she's changing for better as the farm and the town grow little by little. She's gathering the courage to apologize for her behavior and say how her education actually helped giving shape to who she is today, but... "I-it's not like I'm thanking them or anything, idiot!"

Born the youngest of five boys in a Russian-Italian family, Josiah's been used to stress and chaos his whole life, which makes it so odd that he'd choose such a quiet little town to live in. Nevertheless, he found it charming and opted to stay, just for a little while, just to help it get it back on its feet. A few days quickly turned into a few weeks and so on and so forth.
He's now lived in Echo Village for almost a year. Still, he's remained his collected, solitary self, seldom venturing out into the town unless necessary, but he's never anything but kind to the villagers he does interact with. Perhaps that will change once I build the Exotic Mansion?

*I didn't marry any of the girls in ToTT, I pretended I was with Cam instead. 8U None of the girls really appealed to me in that game. Kay is their adopted child.

Kay is another in a long line of farmers, and he hopes to be as successful as his adoptive parents. He's still very young, but he has dreams of being married and having a family. He's not the best with crops, but he's very good at taking care of animals, since his father Tanaka was very kind to his farm animals too. It's why he befriends Neil and Rod easily. He and Rod are like bros, and Neil pretends he's annoyed with Kay, but he does care for him as a friend.

He sees Emma as a second mother, and Hana as a second grandmother, and he loves them both dearly. And he's friends with Klaus too, despite how snobby Klaus is sometimes; Kay insists Klaus is a nice man deep, deep, DEEP inside. Kay also helps Rebecca out by playing with Toni and being his friend; Kay's fond of the kid and wants to be a cool big-brother for him.

Kay is also very good friends with Iroha, but he doesn't notice that the poor girl hopelessly has a crush on him.

Kay is still not an experienced farmer; in fact, he wasn't even supposed to inherit the farm of Echo Village! Chanel (the "daughter" of the Rosalie, what I will call the ToTT heroine, and Hiro), was the heir, but Kay wanted to help so he followed her. When he heard the town was in such a desolate situation, he decided to help Chanel out. It's been a stressful road for Kay, since Chanel unexpectedly had to go back to Konohana, leaving Kay to run the farm by himself. He didn't know how to manage his money, and there were many nights where he had nothing to eat at all, and doing so much farm work alone severely exhausted him. Even when things were at their most stressful, he didn't want to ask the villagers for help when they clearly had enough trouble on their hands.

It never stopped Kay's very cheerful and somewhat ditzy demeanor though. And he's strong for a 16-year-old, despite his twig-thin physique. With the help of Rebecca's blueprints, Kay has built many houses, buildings, and other decorations and necessities for the town. No matter how hard he works out, he never seems to get any muscle tone; Kay isn't too bothered by it, though, he doesn't want to be muscular.

Working on the farm has really been a good experience. It is Fall 12th, and despite his first Gardening Tour being an utter failure, he's feeling confident. Kay's slightly more mature, he doesn't have financial troubles anymore, and Yuri is a great girlfriend despite their age difference. (*I peg Yuri to be 20-22 years, give or take). Kay is on Town Renovation Plan #4, and he will continue to work hard like he always does.

You walk in to find Erilyn standing over the counter with Sanjay, an array of cups laid out on the counter in front of them. The two of them aren't talking but rather are just staring at the teacups. They both turn when they notice you standing there.

You ask what they're doing and Erilyn explains that she and Sanjay have tea together frequently and they decided that they wanted a new, special tea to drink together in the morning. The problem is, nothing seems to be working out quite how they'd like and none of the teas have tasted good at all so far!

The three of you look at the teas for a moment longer, as you seem to have something to say.

Option One: What about putting curry in one of the cups?

Erilyn shakes her head and frowns. She's grateful for your help, but they tried adding curry already. Sanjay is her friend and Sanjay likes curry, so that was one of the first things that they did and it tasted fairly terrible. She tells you that she doesn't want to take up any more of your time with their silly questions, but that she hopes they'll find something tasty to show you next time if you want to have tea with them.

Erilyn blushes and admits that she was thinking about it, but didn't know if it was actually a good idea or if she was just biased because she enjoys mango. If you think it sounds like a good idea, though, then maybe they'll
try it! Sanjay tells her that she should have mentioned it sooner, since he would have been willing to try mango tea if she'd suggested it. The two of them prepare another cup of tea, this time with mango. It looks like a success! Both of them are happy with how it tastes. They thank you for your input and tell you that you're welcome to drink tea with them any time.

It wasn't an event at all XD He just suddenly became blue heart from participating in a crop fesitval and everything he said was a lot less mean! And kinda nice! He's still a cranky butt when a baby animal is born but what can you do XD

I put my 3DS on the lowest brightness setting, turned off the lights, and took the picture with my phone. It's counter-intuative, but turning down the brightness helps the camera adjust the colors better. =P

Her parents are Kurt and Dia from Magical melody, though she inherited her purple eyes from her great grandmother on Kurt's Mother's side. When the family saw her purple eyes they were upset at first finding them strange, but they soon became fiercely protective.
They frequently had to step in when her rival and cousin (Joe and Katie's daughter, Angie) would let her teasing get out of hand.
She also has an older brother who, do to his mother's poor health, is not very strong or healthy. She and her brother get along very well as due to his weak body and her weak will the two could easily relax and simply read stories together instead of straining to keep up with the others.

She has found a surprisingly large group of friends since moving to Echo Village. She was initially wary of Iroha's tough appearance but has since found her to be a phenomenal best friend. She's also good friends with Felicity, Yuri, Rod,and Hina. She gets along with just about everyone though, as confrontation tends to make her very upset.

Unfortunately everyone's got them. She doesn't get along with bullies and has a particular dislike for people who feel the need to be rude to someone who's done nothing to harm them. That said, she can't stand Allen's Superiority complex or Klaus's cold distaste and his constantly speaking as though he's better then all of them. While she hopes he'll grow out of it she thinks Toni is a little brat.

Personality/Bio:
She's naturally very curious, and while she's quite at first, once she becomes comfortable in her surroundings she has a tendency to 'shine'(AKA: have way too much enthusiasm and talk to much but in a very charming way). She always tries to make the best of things and her greatest wish is for everyone to get along well.
While she has a great love of books and animals, she has a few more extreme hobbies, she is a big fan of Zip-lining, and once convinced the Mayors of Bluebell and Konohana to make a complete Zip all the way down both sides of the mountain.
While she loves her animals she sometimes skips picking up and snuggling her chickens when she's not in the mood to take the time to set them down gently.

What she's up to: Trying her best to improve Echo town with Dunhill's most recent restoration plan, #5, Trying to prepare her animals for the animal festivals advanced class this year, and hoping to keep finding even more new things to love about Neil.

I FINALLY DECIDED. Shizue will be asking Amir out today. :'D

I ruled out Neil, because I like Shizue and Neil as friends instead of boyfriend/girlfriend, then I asked everyone out with save/reload. Allen's really didn't represent him well, which is a pity, but oh well, gotta rule 'em out somehow. Rod was ADORABLE and GREAT. Soseki was adorable, but just didn't click the way Rod (and Amir) did. Sanjay just felt a little wrong -- I liked Amir a lot more, and with he and Sanjay being so close, it always felt wrong to be romancing Sanjay. ;;; Then Amir was just adorable, too, and I liked him a lot as a match for Shizue ;A;" So it came down to Rod and Amir... so I skimmed their heart events, and Amir's are super romantic, so I'VE DECIDED ON HIM.
