Ah, thank you~! Cx It's pretty simple to come up with scenarios though- this game throws so much silly at you, it's almost crazy! I think Xilan and Sam would be awesome friends- just Sam would totally wish she had the tolerance Xilan probably has to drinks- 2 cups and she already on the far end. P:

I'm glad I was making sense! Art can be difficult to explain in words sometime, you know how it is. And as always, practicing, even less-fun stuff like still lifes and environmental drawings help, especially with backgrounds. ^^

And, gaaaaah, your Rival Heart Events are adorable and ack. If I could somehow import Sam into my game, I'd want to creep on all her heart events and make Neil happy by getting them married. Yussir. <3 I will just have to settle with inserting extraneous headcanons into my game time, ahaha.

As for building up tolerance, Xilan's advice to Sam would be to sip and eat lots of snacks. Harvest Moon-viewing snacks are the best; dango, taro, steamed edamame, roasted chestnuts, mooncakes, and udon or soba with egg on top, yum. I get hungry just thinking about it.

The game is pretty crazy with some of its comments occasionally, so reading your comics and seeing the equally crazy reactions is just golden. Sam is far more exuberant than Xilan, I think, 'cause Xilan is more likely to furrow her brow and go, "ooookay, I'm going to either pretend I didn't hear that or play it off" to some of the strange comments.

Finally, started on some art today that's not for me, but for one special artist here! Pretty exciting in my book. Although I got distracted in the midst of making rice pudding, but yessss. I want to do this more, because it's fun to draw other people's characters (even more fun to envision characters together).

Thanks Jeanne! I think it is the only thing close to being creative that I have come up on my own in months xD Hopefully it will catch on and some other members will adopt the idea for their own profile. I had a lot of fun doing it and hopefully did a good job with the people I have done so fas, as far as getting their oc personality down.

Oh gosh, that all sounds delicious! Sam would be forever grateful to that advice- considering that not only would she not make a total idiot of herself, she gets to eat tasty treats too. Especially taro and soba.

Ahaha, thanks! I think even Xilan reacting the way she does could be highly entertaining- I know how she interacts with people who are friends would make for some hysterical moments with the more easily embarrassed characters, for sure. xD

And that sounds fun~ Hope whoever it's for likes it (though I don't doubt it- what's not to like about your art! ) And I agree about visualizing characters together. I need to get my butt in gear and work on some. :D

Hey hey, am I late to the party? Well I didn't get the game until just recently cause my friend bought it and a 3DS for me for Christmas. :'D So I am a bit behind most people.
But I'm reading through the first few pages of this and thinking "...YES." because the whole time I'm playing this game I've been planning out a little story in my head for my "OC". LOL Glad I wasn't the only one who thought of this. XD

Totally going to read ALL of these and then post one of my own! :D Which could take a while seeing as I have 60+ pages to go through but I want to see them all! >:O

Ahahaha, no way are you late! People are posting new OCs all the time, and updating their portfolios and adding stories and art! I love this thread to death. And good luck! I haven't gone through all 60 yet either.

And Llama, it's really pretty! You did the right thing, adding in warm tones to shade the hair, since the light reflecting off her warm clothes would give white hair a little warm tint. ^^ Your intuition seems spot on!

Finally, I'm going to open one art trade spot, since it'll be easier for me to paint two characters at once. Anyone wanna trade? I'll do a commission too, if people would rather do that.
