Oh no! Sorry to hear that :c I have to wait for summer year 2 to unlock Sanjay & Amir even with planting the seeds because I didn't do the gardening tour in fall -- so actually, you have to wait until year 2 no matter what...

If yams are all you need, you could trade different people for 30 and ship them.

Hello! I'm desperately in need of yam seeds - I hope to unlock Amir/Sanjay early, since I want to marry Amir. Are you still trading? I'm only in Summer of year 1 so I don't have *too* many things, but I do have some bottles, coins, and lumber. Please let me know if that's okay with you!

Just wondering, if you had 2 yam seeds and you planted them right on Fall 1 and watered twice a day, would you have enough for 30 yams?

Just checking back in! I wasn't sure if you were still up for trading. I've since gotten two bottles and some green downs. I didn't know if you had enough of those, or if you wanted to stick with the small lumber trade still.

MORE than enough. I did 2 full Soil Plots full of Yams (so 4 Yam Seeds, for a total of 16 plants) and I ended up Shipping 30, made 99 Yam Seeds, and have an undisclosed number of Yams still in my fridge right now. And that was with watering once a day, not twice.
