I finally got a seed maker after i made one star* ranking seed. I planted them used fertilizer once but the rank didn't improve and i am using normal field not gravel( didn't unlock any other type if there are any).

Do i have to fertilize every day to improve the rank if so what about crops that take month or month and a half to grow?

Yes, you have to fertilize every day to get a higher star ranking. The crops that take a month, same thing, fertilize everyday.
