The reward for the third renovation is AWESOME.Your Left Sock wrote:I'm annoyed at all of the Town Renovation plans. I understand, the two needs help- got it. But maybe throw me a bone every once in a while? Not a plum (TYVM Harvest Goddess >.<). I feel like there should be more rewards involved with the town renovations. Or maybe some funding for them- considering they've eaten up a HUGE portion of my money. :/
Not. Amused.
But at least they give us target goals. There were target goals in previous games, but I find this one is a bit rewarding. I mean, after all, you're building an ENTIRE town. <3 It's beautifully a pain the neck.

You honestly keep nothing when playing HM? You sell everything you can get your hands on and never plan ahead?! The town renovation plans don't make you do much at all, as long you as keep stuff, which you should be storing anyways cause stuff will always be needed.Mizukithepanda wrote:Well, as soon as I actually force myself through Winter, which is a terrible drag, I'll be starting TRP#5. The renovation plans are absolutely miserable if you ask me. They force me to play in a way that I normally wouldn't. I can't just have fun with my farm. Instead, I have to hoard everything in the known universe and do a bunch of extra « Cow Poopoo » that I normally wouldn't bother with otherwise.
I don't really have anything to look forward to doing aside from the renovation plans. I've already gotten married, and will have a kid on the way as soon as Rebecca starts selling the plans for the children's bed. I've made at least one of every farm upgrade available to me, and am working on paving my village in brick in my spare time because I just have nothing else left to do to it while I wait.
wait...to unlock Sanjay I need to have 3 gardening tours? oh brother ;n; if only I had known this before. bleh better get to work on that project.Emurii wrote:The game is clearly set up to drag the plot out as far as possible, but I really wish that unlocking Amir & Sanjay weren't tied to completing the 4th renovation, which has so many long-term goals (like the 3 gardening tours). I'd have more fun if I could date freely rather than having to hold of on my interactions until I unlock those two.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said that. I hoard plenty in other HM games too, but this game takes it to an extreme I don't usually bother with. There's no finesse in hoarding in this game. All I have to do is hoard everything. Instead of actually planning ahead and carefully choosing what I hoard and what I sell, in this game it's just best to keep it all unless you know that it can't be used as a building component.LightHawKnight wrote:You honestly keep nothing when playing HM?
