Can someone explain to me what the difference between gravel field,regular field and soil field

I think crops grow better in a regular field,and best in the soil field

Crops grow slowest in Gravel Field, and Fastest in Soil Field. But not necessarily best! You can only fertilize once each day to increase star rank, so sometimes you might want a slower growing field! =P

When using gravel fields, when it proceeds to the next season, your crops will all die. With regular fields, they'll survive for 3 days into the new season. And for soil fields, they'll survive a whole extra week.

I think they also have a better chance of being big/giant in the higher level fields

in my experience, i think emurii is right: i've gotten a few giant crops in regular and soil, but i never got any in the gravel field. i think your chances just naturally increase as well as crop growth time and the crops lasting longer into the next season.
