Personally, I really dislike Michelle for bachelorettes. Too pink and such an iffy personality. x.x
And her heart events... Bleeeeg.

For bachelors, I don't like Soseki, how he talks about being old annoys me, and I actually don't like his character design either.
Or heart events. I just don't like him all together.

Rod is another I don't like, he's just too happy.
And looks too young x.x

Neil would be okay, but his personality sticks through marriage, so Ew.


At least Allen gets really sweet. Espically at like pink her, he really lays down the flattery, and is a tad less aggorant. And his heart events are actually cute, cause it makes him forced to not act that way in the end.

No. Just no. I could care less if Allen turned out to be a closet saint. If someone starts off acting like a total prick, They can't possibly expect that most folks would give them a chance. It would be different if they were simply somewhat cold, but Allen's attitude goes way beyond that.

So yeah. I'm sure you can all tell who I hate out of the guys.

As far as the girls go, I can't say for sure yet. I really don't have everyone just yet. Judging by the posts, It'll probably wind up being Michelle, but I can't say for sure until I see for myself. If that even happens, of course.

I don't hate Allen but I agree with this. I mean I know it's just a game but I can imagine Allen being the kind of guy who's nice to you until you get into an argument and then he'd probably revert to his arrogant rude self. I can handle Neil type blunt rude but I don't know if I can handle Allen type conceited rude. xD But still, Allen is an interesting character and he makes my game more interesting.

Neil is such a jerk I can't stand it!

I only have him and Allen so far so it may be too soon to say for certain... but I feel like since we'll have been together the longest his jerkitude will win out >_>

To be honest I don't dislike any of them. I think they each have their own quirky personality and I love it.

I had Neil at red heart by the time I got married to Sengoku, and I still didn't like it.

Soooo I don't think everyone will warm up to Neil like he supposedly does to us. Yeah. I'm not buyin' it >:(

I don't hate any of the bachelors, I like them all in a different way. If I had to choose a least favorite, maybe it'd be Allen. I don't really mind ore-sama types, but there's something about him I don't really like.

As for bachelorettes I'm not sure either. Probably Michelle because of how mean she is in her heart events. That being said, I might actually marry her because while the other bachelorettes are pretty nice, I got kind of bored of them.

Michelle.

Neil. He is just so rude. I don't care what your daddy issues are - my parents called me a freak and disowned me, but I can still act respectfully and nice to people I meet. It bothers me when people are like "well he gets nicer once he cares about you!" Well, so does every other person on the planet, and they didn't need to treat people like, excuse the the language, but barn dirt to begin with. :p It bothers me most that he actively goes out of his way to be mean. He comes to YOUR farm all the time just to berate or yell at you or tell you to go away. He's a bully.

(Edit: Just wanted to add I'm not mad he's in the game, I actually like that they're putting a wider variety of personalities in and that's good for the people who do like that kind of personality. It's probably a testament to how good the character is designed that he can get me emotionally worked up enough over his behavior, haha. But I still don't like him and get nervous when he's in the same area as me. :p)


As for bachelorettes, I haven't seen any that I dislike. (though I haven't seen any of Michelle's events and she doesn't seem to be too popular, so this might change...)

I really, really hate Allen. To me, arrogance is the most annoying thing in the world. I don't find it funny that he believes that he is better than the MC. To top it off, he's possessive and if he isn't talking about how great he is, he's talking about hair. Plus, I find his design really boring, it's just a guy with glasses.

I've never liked the Witch Princess and I wish they would stop putting her in games. She acts like a spoiled five year old all the time. Her entire personality is her throwing tantrums and acting like an entitled little jerk. Plus, she's super immature. It's a shame that her personality is so crappy, because in this game she has a really appealing design.

And I personally don't mind Michelle as much as I'm supposed to. As much as the jerk characters make me roll my eyes, I find it interesting that she isn't out right about it. I certainly wouldn't marry her, but I think she's one of the more realistic jerks. In real life, most jerks aren't bluntly rude, they are more manipulative. I think she's certainly more interesting than say Allen or Neil.

No offense to the fans of these people, it's just my personal opinion.

Even during the SI/IoH games? I thought she greatly improved in those. Granted, I always liked her in all of the games she's appeared in, but I can understand why some would dislike her in DS/DSC. How is she in this game? I was always the assumption that she'd be more mature this time around.

Is Michelle really that bad? I haven't unlocked her yet, but she was on the top of my list of potential spouses. I'm hopping there's another layer to her character other than being a gold digger.

My least favorite bachelor would easily be Rod.
He's far too happy-go-lucky and he reminds me of a 5-year-old.
He's cute, but more of a kid or little brother than a great husband.

I was going to marry Neil. I have him up to a blue heart but even through his heart events he's just been acting like a jerk. When I lost the spring crop festival (didn't put much effort in due to trying to gather materials, etc.) Neil was like, "Wow, you can't even win the beginner class? You're hopeless." And I was like WELP NOPE. Urgh. I'm tired of them using more than one jerk guy in a game, honestly. I get enough of that IRL.

I honestly don't know who to pursue for marriage in this game. They're honestly all pretty unappealing. Haven't unlocked Sanjay and Amir yet though.

I wouldn't call her a gold digger, necessarily. She is a con artist (based on the information on the site), but I don't know if there is another layer to her.
