Seriously Game?

So I've triggered two random events. Both of them were about a woman's appearance. The first one was called "The Big One" here's how it goes. Warning: Do not read if you're sensitive about your weight.
Spoiler:
I go into the Mountain area from either the River or Forest around 2pm, sunny, Summer Year 2, Sunday. I see Toni catch a bug. He shows it to me. He invites me to catch bugs with him, I agree.
Tina shows up. Toni offers for her to join us, she says she can't -she's jogging because she gained some weight-. He says that's boring. She gets angry because her weight is very important to her. She talks about how maintaining her beauty is a full time job. and how she can't let even one meal slide. Toni mentions that she's gained some weight in her legs/stomach/face. Then he says "One meal? I've seen you pigging out on snacks. I'm surprized you aren't as big as a house by now!"* He continues to dig himself deeper for a bit. She tells him off. He says "You can't blame other people because you're fat."* She flips out and chases him off screen. Insert hitting sound effects, He starts begging "No violence! No violence!"*, she says "There are some things even kids can't say!"* She continues beating the « Cow Poopoo » out of him offscreen and then the event ends.
* As close to the actual dialouge as I can remember.
And the other one was this one.

TDLR; I've seen two really bad random events and Toni is a rude little « Tulip ». I feel bad for Niko. Him and Hina should ignore Toni.

I seriously just got the Toni & Tina one. At the end I was just, "O_O She blew him up."

Then later that night, on my farm Rebecca is wandering around and asks me what I'm doing up so late. I think the real conversation probably went something more like this:

"MC, have you seen Toni? He's late for bedtime!"

"...." *sweatdrops*

At first I thought Toni was cute and didn't understand why everyone hated him. After that event with Tina I was so angry I've been ignoring the little prick. Her weight is none of his sexist little « Mr.Gourmet's shoes » business!

That event made me just wanna hug Tina and tell her I love her no matter what and to just be happy and not worry so much! Stupid bratty kids.

Way better than if they had just changed the whole event in translation. :\

To be honest, that event made me dislike Tina more than anything. She just came off as just one of those stupid airheads who whine about their weight trying to get compliments, whereas Toni was just being honest about it and said she ate a lot. If someone doesn't want to be told the truth then they should keep their mouth shut about the subject, imo.

Kind of triggering for a kid's game.

Toni was just doing what kids do and making an observation. Tina shouldn't be so obsessed with her weight and say things like that she has to monitor it and not let a single meal go and then eat like crazy too and not expect someone to point out that flaw in her diet. I think Toni is a total brat but not because of that event. You should never talk to a child if you can't handle them being brutally honest because most children have no censor.

The pressure for women to be skinny is ridiculous. And it's even worse with asian women. Being worried about your weight is not something only stupid airheads do. She wasn't saying "WAHH COMPLIMENT ME I'M FAT AREN'T I?". Yes she deserved Toni's "honesty" because she's worried about something that society puts a huge deal on. I always get annoyed at games and other media as they ALWAYS have to have some girl complaining about gaining weight and being "gross" and "fat". This leads to male characters making fun of them even if they are in NO WAY FAT. Because picking on people who are insecure is always okay, and is excusable if they are kids. Guess what? It's none of that little brat's problem what she eats or what she does. End of story.
Last I checked he asked why she didn't want to play and she explained it. That was that. "Being honest"? Well so was Tina. Bratty kids grow up to be rude « Mr.Gourmet's hat » adults. You don't just "excuse" what they say because they are kids, or they don't learn that what they said was wrong.

It's not a little kids business about her diet. It's hers. Don't excuse bad behavior just cause it's a kid. You tell them what they did wrong so they can learn.

what he said wasn't wrong, it was just the freaking truth. And no, I didn't say airheads worried about weight, I said airheads fish around for compliments, which is exactly what Tina did. People are really into jogging jog, people who want to remain fit jog, but no, she had to go and throw in 'oh QQ I need to lose weight! ;_;' As I said, if she didn't want Toni to respond about her weight in an honest manner, she can shut her trap next time and not bring up her weight at all. That goes for anything, and yes, this is a pet peeve, it pisses me off. If you don't want the truth told to you as opposed to empty brainless complimenting lies, don't even bring it up. And you know, she only makes herself look even better by physically attacking a little kid. Because child abuse is cool.

Calmmm down. It's a game, no I don't agree with this event and it's off on both ends but still if you really are bothered by it contact Natsume and complain.

I would have felt the same way as MC was because Toni was oblivious to what he's doing. Kids are kids for a reason. They won't know what they're doing wrong if they're just going about what they were taught by their guardian/teachers/media/etc.

How was saying she needs to jog because she gained some weight fishing for compliments? She is stating exactly what she is doing, and I doubt she needs compliments from a kid. Please explain how saying "I gained some weight so I am jogging" is fishing for compliments. And because she is obviously insecure about her weight she deserves the things he said? How about he doesn't say ANYTHING. He doesn't need to compliment her and he doesn't need to be a little « Mr.Gourmet's hat ». Because guess what? TINAS BODY AND WHAT SHE DOES WITH IT IS NONE OF HIS BUSINESS. Not only is he just a child but her body is not his business.

And really I think it's funny you'd bring up "physically attack a little kid". Have you... ever watched any anime? I personally hate physical violence and slapstick humor but the whole "girl takes out hammer/hits someone who offends her" is a pretty popular anime thingy.
