i would not call those hidden, even i know most of them. ^^ anyway, i guess if those are hidden, then almost everyhting i like is, i mean, no one i know plays them or anything.. they have only heard of them from me, it seems... no one i know even plays fatal frame. ;_; it makes me sad. no one i nknow knows parasite eve, either. or even legend of mana. (how sad is that?) they are all too busy with their kingsom hearts and final fantsy to care about the good games, i guess... (oh, and maybe two of my friends know chrono trigger. that makes we want to cry...)
I forgot to mention Legend of Mana, but parasite Eve wasn't that great of a game, it was made to test the graphics for Final Fantasy 8. Here are a few more good games.
Persona 2 Eternal Punishment
Galarians
Kings Field
The Adventures of Willy Beemish
Ark The Lad
Power Stone
Valkaryie Profile
Um Jammer Lammy
Omega Boost
Tactics Ogre The Knight Of Lodis

Ark The Lad

Tactics Ogre The Knight Of Lodis
I'm going to have to agree that most of these aren't hidden at all. Arc the lad had nation wide advertising and most of these games were talked about all over message boards and websites.
You want a truly hidden gem play Dragon Force for the sega saturn. Now that was an awesome game that definitely didn't get enough love. I blame the evil saturn for dying so young.

Okay do you own any of these games that I have posted? Have you even heard of them sponsered in a store? Do you know that Persona goes with the Shin Megami Tensei series? I seriously doubt you do. And it's Ark the Lad not Arc. How many people do you know own Ark the Lad Collectors series? Do you even know what Galarians is about or who made it? Prove to me that these games are very much played games and I will admit to you then.Myah wrote:I'm going to have to agree that most of these aren't hidden at all. You attack me viciously over a spelling error. You seem to be out to attack anything I say ^_^ Not that I mind too much. It's fun to have a "sparing" buddy.
Ark the lad was nationally advertised. If you missed the commercials that isn't my fault :p
Persona I didn't know was part of Shin Megami Tensei series (which BTW is an overated series to begin with) but I have heard of it mentioned on many different forums.
Un Jammer Lammy was always nationally advertised and wasn't very good at all. Parappa the Rapper was way better.
Valkierie Profile was released by Enix... anyone who follows RPGs at all would know that.
Tactics Ogre, Another Enix series, one all strategy and RPG fans know about
BTW. You spelled Bahamut Lagoon wrong. Not that it matters... it's a sub-par RPG by Square.
E.V.O. another subpar SNES game where you earn points to "evolve" your creature.
Grandia extreme: Another outing by Enix... nationally advertised. Never played it myself.
Record of Lodoss war: Based on the anime it was a sub-par hack and slash for the dreamcast
Vagrant story (another game you misspelled!): An RPG by square. Saying anything by square is unknown is very pitiful.
Misadventures of tron bonne: A game in the mega man series. While admittedly based on the less popular Legends series, it's still a fairly well known game (And very fun to play ^_^)
Lunar 2: The better of the two lunar games for PSX/SS which are of course are remakes of the Sega CD games.
I admittedly don't know all of these games, but as you can see, claiming such a large portion of those games as "unknown gems" is just silly. And you shouldn't be stupid enough to mock someone for one spelling mistake on a game's title when I just showed you made a lot more then me.

Apparantly you read wrong, I did not misspell Bahumat Lagoon, check it again it's un-edited. Also if you want to try to attack me over spelling, you misspelled "Sparring" but I will give you the benefit of the doubt that your young and bound to make mistakes. Now you have not proven that any of the games I posted are widely played or well liked by the gaming community due to past history problems. Also games like Bahumat Lagoon never made it to the US. Whatever, here are a few more games I consider underrated and hard to find.Myah wrote:You attack me viciously over a spelling error. Bahamut lagoon. So yes, you did misspelled it. You did not say underrated in your first post. You said and I quote

But I'm done arguing. I'm probably coming off like an « Mr.Gourmet's hat » and that's definitely not what I'm trying to do. I was sick yesterday and when I'm sick I tend to do/say stupid things ^_^ If you'll forgive me I'm sure I can start behaving better.Post your favorite Hidden Gem games that many people never heard of.
