one of my friends who i completely can't trust told me something in 2005 or 2006 there would be an x box two i didn't know whether to beleive him or not but i figured it was worth a try does anyone know if it was true

The Nintendo Revolution will probably be out before XBox 2 (and I doubt that will be the name).

I'm not sure where you all get your information, but I'll take a moment to set the record straight.
X-box 2 is planned to be out by the end of this year.
PS3 and Revolution will both be out sometime in 2006. Nintendo representatives have been quoted as saying they want to release around the same time as the PS3 because they would be rushed to meet X-box 2's debut.
All three consoles will debut at E3 this year (which is in May for those of you who don't know) and it's believed Microsoft will gives an exact date then as well as sony and nintendo confirming a first half 2006 release date for their consoles.
All this information has been floating around both planetgamecube.com and ign.com for awhile if anyone wants to check ^_^

Shut up. XBOX is such a scam......it's basically more or less the same thing as a PS2, with a faster loading time.

I read in newest "Electronic Gaming Monthly" the latest news on the new console systems:
The creator of Xbox 2 isn't saying that they're going to have late 2005 release, but no official release date has been made yet(Thank goodness who would want and Xbox or Xbox 2 anyway
)
The PS3 will only be revealed in March 2005, and a plan release in late 2006.
Late but certainly not least the the moment we've been waiting for...
Nintendo Revelution has and plan release around the same time as the PS3 in late 2006!!!! Hooray!!!!

Thank the Harvest Goddess for that! I was so worried Nintendo would flop after letting out the DS. Now I'm happy again!

X-box a scam? I have no earthly idea of what you are talking about. X-box is the most advanced Game system to date. Hell Elders Scrolls on X-box 2 almost looks completely real. I do admit X-box does have some pretty crappy games, but hey they look amazing.
