I'd be fine with Reona just standing there looking cute. XD
But with everyone else they should have to garden and you could puick their crops and sell them as your own. XD

I think depending on which girl you marry they should all do something different. It would be best for each girl to do something corresponding with their personality.
For example
If one is an excellent cook then she should cook food for you.
If one loves animals she should help with the animals.

I think to have her have a garden AND cool would be cool! I also think your wife should work around the farm a bit. Maybe water the plants, something easy. But wives like Muu probably would continue to work at the bar
