Any way, I just got Animal Crossing last Saturday(1/29/05) So I'm totally addicted, and I still only have the small house(The one you start out with) But I only have 16,700 Bells left to pay off for the house and I have 12 thousand some on me, so I'm almost done paying off my debt

If you play non-stop for a couple of hours you will get the debt paid off unless you cheat...then you get it in five minutes

Cheating in Animal crossing is bad... I mean that's 90% of the game right there finding ways to earn money. You can only listen to the villagers for so long.

The best way to earn money early on is ocean fishing (if you have a fishing rod). You should be able to catch 3000-5000 bell fish pretty early on.

I didnt say it was a good thing or to do it...I just said it was alot faster....I hate cheats though since they mess the game up even if there arnt any technical glitches because it takes away alot of the experiance....

I just got my game in December & all of my debt is paid off and I have about 2 million bells in the bank.

tots45, there's an awesome site you should go to--Animal Crossing Community. You can trade with people there for different items & get help with the game. It's a really big, friendly community!

I am not as addicted as my sister, I play every couple days, or whatever. But SHE plays five hours straight every day. She's playing right now. I miss my tv!

Yup yup, I play. I've abandoned my 13 million Bell file, and started another, which is now a 3 million Bell file. I have FOUR, that's right, count 'em- FOUR characters, whom I've dubbed Lloyd, Genis, Presea, and Sheena. I've also created custom clothes for each character, based on their clothes for Tales of Symphonia. All four of my characters have the biggest house, and over 100K HRA points. Lloyd has paid off his 798000 Bell debt, (:o) but the other three haven't. Now, I'm waiting for Tortimer to go on vacation again so I can get the rare furniture "Chocolate"!

Codes? Search on GameFAQs.com. They have a Univeral Code guide, which even has a 100 turnip code! They also have codes for the Golden Shovel, Axe, Fishing Rod, and Net in their Cheats and Codes section for AC.

I've only gotten my first house upgrade to the bigger room, and then Rolf moved in to my town from my bro's town and decided to paint my roof black

I haven't tried it yet. I thought of buying it is it any good?
