Sanjay / Amir

I looked around in the dialog topic for a bit and didn't see anything that really helped with this, and I'm not too sure how to search for this because I can't just search their names :p BUT ANYWAY

Have any of you dated/married Amir/Sanjay? I'm trying to decide which one to marry and I keep leaning towards one and then changing my mind but I'd like to know how they speak once you start dating or get married.. Like does Sanjay act any less formal? And how sweet would you consider them?

I married Sanjay. Was going to do another file for Amir, but I don't think I will. I married him in GrB.
Sanjay doesn't really get any less formal, but everything he says is very sweet, and you even get to see a little jealousy from him. (Over Amir, none the less!) I found it to be very cute and all. He's a sweet heart.

But you could always split your game file and marry them both. Before you start dating either of them, save over the other slot as well. Ask one out in one, and the other on the second.

But really, it's your choice. I just didn't like Amir as much this go around. He's a doll, but something about him in this game just gets me...
(Must admit though, he has more character than in GrB.)

I would split the game and marry both but I already split my game after having dated neil for like 2 months because sanjay and amir moved in and I didn't want to have to start a new file.. so both spots are taken up~

Is Amir really a sweetheart? I made a second game and I'm thinking about going after him because when he moved into my town in my first file I noticed his looks make him look like a sweetie pie.

Amir is sweet but his dialogue isn't as versatile as the rest of the bachelors, if you know what I mean. He tends to say the same thing over and over with little variety. It's kind of like the old harvest moon games where the characters only had 2 dialogues when you talked to them during the day whereas the other bachelors in a new beginning have like 4 or 5 different things to say. That's what put me off on Amir, a lack of diversity. I liked Sanjay but he was too formal and kind of codependent almost.

For what it's worth, I married Amir my first go round, and he's actually very sweet. He frequently calls the MC 'my dear' or 'dearest', and lots of his dialogue during meals and festivals is about how lucky he is to have you. There are a couple of moments where he gets just a little bit jealous in that kind of over-protective guy way. But I think some of my favourite moments come from his meal dialogues... like he mentions how apparently, after the two of you decide to get married he tries to get Sanjay to teach him how to cook so that he can help you out with the household chores; or how the royal family always ate together when he was growing up but it was tense and awkward, and he's happy that those moments are just memories now; and how he still gets nervous sometimes being alone with you, because he's never had much chance to spend time with a woman alone before (complete with blushing face). He's also really cute after dinner, because he asks if you're going to be working late and how he hopes not because he'd like to spend some time with you... etc.

I didn't expect to like him as much as I did, honestly. I was planning on going for Sanjay when they first moved in, but I just couldn't get over how super formal/polite he is, whereas Amir is a bit more relaxed about things.

hmm yea I originally was going to go for Amir but Sanjay was really cute and I started to heavily lean toward him, especially since I unlocked them at the end of spring, so Amir was gone for a month soon afterwards.. but Sanjay's formality really kinda annoys me and wanted to see if either of them changed at all after marriage before I made any kind of decision p: thanks tho o: if anyone has any othe info I'd appreciate it~

Yeah, unfortunately his heart only shows when you give him the ring, like with Yuri.

I'm actually going for Amir in my current game. I was able to unlock him and Sanjay mid-spring, so I'll be able to give Amir almost 50 gifts before he lives. According to my calculations, I'll be getting a reverse confession sometime mid-summer next year. ^_^b

It was a tough choice for me, but like others here I found Sanjay's formality just a bit too... well, formal. I like talking to an equal, and even though Amir is a prince, he actually does speak to you as if you're his equal, unlike Sanjay (or Allen, for that matter).

So, it's Amir for me~!
