I'm curious to see what hooked all of you into the series.

Mine was Harvest Moon back to Nature for the PS1 my and I fought so hard to play it.
He stopped liking it though =/

The first I played was DS Cute, but Boy and Girl was the first I really got into. Then I went back to DS Cute and now it's my favorite

More Friends of Mineral Town. The only other game I've played besides that one is DS Cute which I'm playing at the moment, and man, moving from MFoMT to DS Cute is a shock. It's so much harder on the DS! There's so many more options, so much more to consider, so many more things you need to pay for...

I THINK i first played back to nature at my cousin's mom's house once. I loved the game soo much that i REALLY wanted one of my own so me and my cousin both got friends of mineral town for our gameboys. After that I've been a die-hard fan ever since, unfortunatly my cousin never played after that game even though we had ALOT of fun playing it together.

My first was Magical Melody. I found it while looking for an Animal Crossing-like game, and it was what first got me into the series.

I agree the DS version is very in-depth.

Harvest moon ds was the first one I ever played. I was about 8 when I first got it but never fully understood what to do until I was like 10 :/. Even so, I became hooked and only discovered that there were others in the harvest moon series about a year and a half ago. I had so much fun with this game though and spent hours on it.

DS Cute was my first

Mine was Harvest Moon DS, and that was only because my best friend had it! I got really addicted when I was about 10 once I had the hang of it. DS Cute is my favourite though.

You guys are making me feel old. My first Harvest Moon game was Harvest Moon 3 for GBC. I remember that one of my friends loved it as much as I did and would kidnap the game and save over my file >.<

I always try to remember, but I can never remember if my first HM was DS or MM.

I had the glitched boy version, got MFOMT, then got Cute

The first HM game I played and introduced me to the series was HM64.
