When you are on the 3ds menu, on the middle-top corners of the bottom screen there is a orange smileyface. Click it. Then on the bottom screen with your wifi turned on, click register internet. then put the fc and the name! :] Both people must exchange fc to be an official friend. My fc is: 3711-7471-5692
