The announcement that RF5 was going to be made at some point came out about a month or two after RF4 did, right?

I wonder if they've started working on it yet. They've yet to go two full years without releasing a game, but since we haven't heard anything beyond that it will happen...

If they're going to announce anything this year, it probably won't be until summer or fall. Or possibly even next year-- remember how RF4 was announced ages ago and then they never updated until a few months before release? They might not wanna repeat that again since a lot of people got bored/frustrated waiting for news.

I don't really have anything to add in terms of what I want to see. I'm sure it'll be great if RF4's quality is anything to go by, but I'm not ready to woo anyone other than Dylas yet. I'd feel like I was cheating
(then just wait til they announce new MC(s) and marriage candidates and watch me spaz :p)

I have to say, the speculation when games and the candidates are announced are one of my favorite times... even though they are rather frustrating ._. I really can't wait! I'll be here from the beginning this time and not lurking xD;

It seems that if you look at past releases, RF games are released about every 2 years. While this doesn't mean anything.. by the time it's released here, it'll have been out in Japan for about a year. So maybe in the next year we'll hear something? But like Fin and Dylas, I'm pretty content with Arthur at the moment

But yeah. As long as they keep it RF4 quality, I'll be happy!

Mm. I don't expect to hear anything just now. I guess I meant it would be nice if it was already in the works, so we don't go until 2015 without hearing word of it, or something to that effect. I guess I just suck at saying what I mean. I have this habit outside of cyber space of trailing off mid-thought and figuring the whole world must be on the same wavelength as me, so people will just know how I meant to end what I was saying. I didn't realize I do the same thing online. I'll have to be careful of that.

Oh, I would also like Monica to be marriageable... She was so cute... I know I sound creepy, but I liked her personality XD

I want to have something again where you can go through a series of events to "improve" or change a character that is not plot based. Like in RFF you could choose to have Eunice go on a diet (if you wanted, you didn't have to), and after a certain amount of time her picture and character would change for good. I thought it was a nice touch. It doesn't have to be about weight or anything like the sort, but you can have a character gain a major amount of confidence or something along the lines. It can be something small like just holding their chin up higher and smiling more often. Things like that keep my interest more often.

It would be cool to go through an event to help a severely introverted/depressed person open up a bit more and become confident and optimistic.

No amnesia would be awesome, but I'm not holding my breath. The only thing I really want are rival couples. It doesn't need to be with every bachelor/ette, but if like, two couples eventually got together if the MC didn't get in the way, that would seem more realistic. Then eventually they could have a kid or something.

It's weird being surrounded by eligible bachelor/ettes and none of them get married to anyone but you okay.

It would be nice to be able to marry the same gender and still have kids, I would also like to have mermen/mermaid, dragon, elves, and angels for marriage candidates . I would also like the kids to look like their parents, but you could pick which one you want them to look like. And for them to keep being to play as a female.

Some people have already mentioned what I would like to see in RF5 but I'll say it all anyways.

Retourning characters as marriage candidates! Minevra, Candy, Evelyn, etc.

A male eastern bachelor instead of a female eastern bachelorette.
I'd like to have the game set in the Elve Kingdom or w/e it's called. That would be nice! Or another place in the verse, like the land where all the eastern gals are from, hehe.
Second gen?
More half-monsters.
Some brand new races/species.
Selphy should make a shoehorned cameo because she's too great to be only in one RF game.

-Multiple person parties can be used in dungeons, allowing players to bring NPC's or fellow real life players into combat with them
-Cross platform play(Wii U and 3DS)
-Cross Save functionality(Wii U and 3DS)
-Ability to customize player's appearance
-Ability to explore other player's town
-Ability to become town's mayor

I know none of this will happen but I would be so happy if they took the series in this direction haha.

I'd love another chance to marry Selphy. She was so adorable with how she obsessed over books. Every time I play RFF I get it in my head to try marrying someone I haven't before and I always end up going after Selphy again instead.
