mythic stone, help!

I have all six blessed tools, and I know what floors to look on (3rd mine, ends in 0 until 255 then ends in 5), but I can't find my first mythic stone. I've tried saving and reloading before entering a correct floor, I've tried going to deeper correct floors, I've visited this darn mine hunting for this stone so many times that my LP with Keria is now over 40k! What am I doing wrong? Are these stones just super rare in Cute? Please help!

It actually shouldn't be that difficult to find. I found them pretty quickly....with the save and reload method which you said you use...
please note that you can only have one at a time in your inventory, but you said you didn't even find one....
Honestly I don't know what to say, I have personally never heard of this problem.

I don't know why it's so difficult. This is taking so much longer than finding the last cursed tool, which I know can be a pain for some. I started wondering if I could have found one months ago and just forgotten about it (I know I found them in MFOMT), but I thoroughly searched my shelf and sack, so I'm sure that's not the case.
After my last post, I said screw it, I'm just going to keep reloading on my current floor (925) until I find it. That was about 30 or so reloads ago, and still no luck. It's definitely in the rocks, right? (I'm starting to doubt everything!) I have the Kappa Hat, so I'm not digging to find any black grass.
