Telling Time?

I'm still in my first year, and I currently have a clock (in case that somehow has an effect). But I have done my research and I would fancy that Time Ring to help get those Violet/Stamina Team Sprites (since the TR allows them to heal you every 15 minutes vs every 30 minutes).

However, the time display only shows each 10 minute cycle (1:00, 1:10, 1:20, etc.). Is there some way to tell when each 15 minutes passes? Or do I just have to interact constantly with the Sprites until I get the time right?

If you look at the : in the time it will blink. Every blink is a second. So 5 blinks = 5 seconds. Does that make sense?

I think I get what you mean... like

1:00
1 00 (no : sign)(=1:01)
1:00 (=1:02)
1 00 (=1:03)
1:00 (= 1:04)
1 00 (1:05)
1:00 (1:06)
1 00 (1:07)
1:00 (1:08)
1 00 (1:09)
1:10

In a way?

Yes, that's true.
Wait until, example 1:10
The ':' blink twice and when the ':' disappears then talk to the sprite.
