It seems like everyone likes him but he just doesn't cut it for me. Leia, Keria, and WP were appealing additions but not him.

Yep, plenty of people dislike Skye. I know he's popular but has quite a lot of hate as well. During my time on Ushi I've multiple topics just like this. Expect most of them weren't as polite. Instead they basically were bashing on the character because they personally didn't like him and for some reason the fact others like him was annoying to them.

So yeah it is safe to say many people share your opinion. I personally am not a huge fan of Skye mostly because of his Heart Events. It was really annoying that he never really had any consequences for robbing people. He didn't even rob because he needed what he was stealing. His leopard print shirt is fabulous though.

I hate Skye because of that ray thing you see in the purple (I think) event. And Googa, I agree about his no consience for stealing.

I used to hate Skye because of how he thinks he can just charm his way out of any situation, and because he's a thief. But guess what? Now, I'm cosidering marrying him.

Now I don't think he's that bad. After all, he is just a character in a videogame. And besides, he's pretty hot.

When I first played the game I liked him better than the other bachelours, but not by much. I wouldn't normally pick him as a first choice but I didn't like the other choices much. I've warmed up to the other guys now, but Skye is a pain. His constant flattering and flirting, and the girls falling down at his feet, is very annoying. It made me want to write my own fanfiction based on my playthrough where the MC doesn't respond to his advances quite so easily, and the self defence that Flora teaches you actually defends against his chick beam thing. It would be so great.

I agree, Skye is pretty annoying. I don't like the way he talks and flirts, or how he can charm all the ladies to get out of any bad situation. He gets away with stealing stuff without facing any consequences, and it's irritating.

However, I still ended up marrying him once, and I do find him to be an interesting character, I suppose. He is rather attractive, and has a nice fashion sense, haha. I much prefer the special bachelorettes in DS over Skye, but I don't not like him, if that makes sense.

This is going to sound awful but he looks way to girly for me to marry him personally!

I used to be in love with Skye, in a sense. But then the fact that I had to stay up each night just for him sort of bothered me. He's a good character but I wish that there could be more after story when you marry him, like how would the villagers react. he is a 'special' boy anyways.
But I did end up marrying him but then started a new game for Gray.

I don't like Skye solely because of his appearance. I know it's shallow and superficial, and I know there are some... 'off' HM characters out there, but he just looks so odd to me. What I do like is that his character development is different. He's made into a very interesting character that shows he deserves the title "Special" Bachelor.

Tbh, I don't find Skye as attractive appearance-wise and personality-wise. He does look pretty, however, compared to other bachelors though. I dislike him, but I don't hate him either. His events are just weird and irritating to watch. He seems to flirt with the MC not because he's attracted to her, but because she helps him to escape. He flirts with every girl he sees only for him to use and discard whenever he pleases. At least he's not a completely bad person, so I can forgive him a little bit.

I do think it's cute that he says that your character is beautiful!

He always reminded me of Phantom Thief KID and I do like him. There are some of his traits I find annoying, like luph said. The way that his character does just flirt with girls to escape in the game can be really annoying. Of course he also has a big ego, because so many girls like him. I do think an event where the guys/bachelors all gathered together and had a little rant about Skye would have been absolutely hilarious.

I've never cared much for Skye; robbing people and being such a manipulative flirt that it makes frickin' Rock look like a mature, loyal husband in comparison doesn't do anything for me.

And it seems like Skye kinda becomes a pansy after marriage, but I've seen very few of his post-wedding events, so I don't know.
