Alexandrite changes colour from pink to green for some reason. Every time I enter/exit a building it just switches. Is this supposed to happen....?

I just googled it and found this video.
it says that has the ability to change colors. it's based on what the real gem does in the light

That is meant to happen, there's even a red alexandrite and a green alexandrite card!
