What do you mean? They're actual sprite characters apart of the game haha, though it's a bit odd because I think some sprites that might not have been found yet still show up to pull the fruit xD

They're like legendary sprites. I don't think they're legit sprites lost in the game. I think I'm right because I wondered the same thing. if not sorry ^^;;;
But I've gotten giant tomato, corn, yam, and something else. ; u ;
