I wish to marry Leia, but I heard that Leia would swim away in Year 2! Is this true? How long do I have to court her?

The one thing to be careful of is that if you marry her she lives in your pond, so if there's a storm she could blow away. The easy way around this is, of course, to check the weather every morning and save and reload to avoid storms

If you want to you can avoid setting off her yellow heart event until she is at a red heart and you have done all the other requirements for marriage then activate it so that when she swims away you only have to stay up late once to propose to her and there fore avoiding the inconvenience of it all
