I have a question, I was playing harvest moon ds cute and look at the scene of Romana and painting.
She said:

  "He died a very long time ago"

My question is: Jeff died?

Cute is set 100 years after MFoMT. In the Japanese version, the characters have different names and are supposed to just be the AWL cast's carbon-copy descendants, I guess, but in the English version they just kept the names the same as past games. Presumably the painting is by MFoMT-era Jeff who is now, obviously, dead.
