I am trying to unlock Muffy's Yellow heart event, but I can't for some reason.
I have her at yellow heart. It is Summer 30, Year 1. I exited my farmhouse during the time slot. I have seen all her other heart events.
I think it may be a glitch, as I noticed that when I exit my farmhouse, my character sprite stands in the doorway, and has trouble moving out, and cannot open the door to go in.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Today is the last day of Summer, so this is my last chance. I would have tried earlier, but I only just got her to yellow heart yesterday.

HMDS is very glitchy, but I hope that isn't the case for you. Make sure you're meeting all the requirements, (weather, time, location). I would keep reloading until it worked, but if it doesn't I would just wait for the next year. That way you still have something to look forward to while rescuing the sprites required for marriage.

Hmm...Muffy's Yellow Heart Event takes place when you exit your farmhouse at the right time. So I think you're meeting all the requirements, but the event is causing the glitch.
I'd just recommend reloading and trying again....and again. Do you have an earlier save? I think it's always a good idea, but ESPECIALLY with this game, to have a backup save.
There aren't any festivals that day or the following day, so it shouldn't be a conflicting even where someone else is supposed to show up.
Is this the first time you've exited the farmhouse that day? I'm guessing not, since it has to be after 9.
Could there be some other event or visitor? Like, have you lost your dog ball recently? Maybe Thomas is trying to bring it back, but it's conflicting with Muffy's event.
