If that does happen those store hours will really have you hoping around. I wonder if you can set up a table to 'auto fill' with the same item if someone takes what's on there. The larger store I saw in some other vids will be a nightmare to manage.
I'm sure they would, and if not, there's only so much room. I bet at the least after a particular point they would stop buying from you(as there's no room to do so) or people would start leaving.

but surely there must be a way to make it easier as you go on. maybe 'larger' shelves that hold more than one of the same item at a time, or maybe allowing you to close and open the shop so you can restock whenever you get low(though there seems like there has to be a better way than that) maybe there'll be a faster way for you to manually put things out. it does look like it'd be really hard when the place gets bigger.

plus I have to wonder if the actual building will get bigger, (and if so how much bigger) and how will that affect the gameplay? (though back to my earlier thought, if the place gets bigger, there's more space to move. if there's more space then maybe people could wait longer, making it a little easier?)

So many questions.

Has anyone been to the official forum and seen if they are answering questions like this?

I didn't even know where was an official forum. or an official site, or anything. that was actually the first thing I asked.

anyone think they could get pics of the inventory from that demo video? I can't on my phone.. I'd love to get a better look at some of what we can sell.

Bah I missed a lot. I will get back to what I missed in a bit but for now I'll just answer the most recent posts real quick.

@Mai
Sure I can get some pics of the inventory from the video. Natsume also posted some pictures of the inventory already so you can check those out too.

Also here is the Hometown Story section of the Natsume forum.

@LeBurns
I checked out the Natsume forums and the answer is I guess "no". They try to answer questions to the best of their ability when they come along but there just aren't many questions being asked right now. And most of the questions are about the pre-order bonuses or the difference between the 3DS version and the ios version. So I don't really know what would happen if someone started asking questions specifically about the gameplay or characters of the 3DS version. They may have to keep it under wraps and not answer very much. Or maybe they'd be able to tell a lot. Who knows.

Well I created an account 'LeBurns'. Just waiting for activation. What questions would you like me to ask?

I am going ask about number of spouses. Gay marriage. Children. RPG aspects. How to manage a large store. Time to day needed at store and time you can do other things.

Anything else?

How about whether the game ends or goes on forever? And if it does end when? Or how many times you'd have to replay the game in order to grant all the wishes?

There are plenty of other things to ask but I wouldn't want to overwhelm them with a huge list of questions.

awesome, thanks.
so-far, it looks like strawberries, pineapples, watermelon, bananas, apples, most likely two kinds of milk, two eggs(I'm wondering if these are two different qualities or if the milk/eggs are like, silky and normal or something), what I bet is two kids of cheese, and what is most likely some sort of herb (maybe one of the new ones they added to ANB?) what I bet is a bunch of different kinds of mayo, ether pastas or soups, bread, what looks like a butter roll and a jelly roll(but idk what the red one is) an omelet, and more foods.

I wonder if we cooked these, or if we got them from somewhere else. (like what they told us in the trailer, neighbors will bring us stuff to sell but I'm betting that with all of them being around 20 we prolly make it ourselves and are given, find, or buy the ingredients.

ios? what all is this game being made for?

um, maybe how fast time moves, (gay marriage is a pointless thing to ask, as we pretty well know the answer, but if enough people ask over time(aka if there's enough demand) we might could push the chances of getting it up a little sooner) like Googa said, how the ending works, and maybe if there's something like in HoLV where if you hit the ending you can do a 'start over' with everything you've unlocked and if so, if unlocking everything gets you anything special.
that's really I can think of right now, but it's a good start.

If it's not too much trouble, can you ask about rival marriage?

Well I got a list of questions lined up. Still waiting on activation. Apparently it's a long process here but I've sent a PM to a mod to help speed it up.

Thanks for asking those questions! 3 candidates for each gender is actually a pretty good number imo. Curious which characters those will be :O

I thought of two more questions.

do products rot, and if there's no gay marriage, (gee, way to be almost offensively curt there ceecee) is it like pokemon, can you get just as close with all the characters regardless of gender, other than whatever entails getting married?
I'd really like to be able to get just as close to the female characters as a female as I would be able to as a male.

it's nice to get some info though.
I might specify on the 'time used' question about how say, if you get 'punished' in any way if you only stay open for small amounts at a time, can you open and close your shop more than once in a day? are you 'punished' if you open your shop late in the day?
I mean, we knew it'd mostly be controlled by us, but that didn't tell us much of anything.

@Rope: yea, it is. AWL only had 3 and they were good candidates, plus the other characters were pretty fleshed out. yea, there wasn't 30 characters total I don't believe, but still.

Interesting :).

Three marriage candidates per gender is fine with me.

Since you apparently don't even really need to talk to someone (I'm assuming they mean talking outside events you get with them) to marry then that must mean the marriage is very intertwined with granting their wish. So that makes me wonder the same thing Mai does. What happens when you play as the same gender as one of those characters? Does their storyline play out the same way just without marriage? I really doubt that happening personally. Either the romance would have to be tagged on right at the end or it'd be a real tease that seemed like a same gender relationship but it didn't actually go anywhere. Maybe the storyline plays out differently if you are the same gender. Or maybe you can't do their storyline at all. If there are wishes that can only be granted if you play as a certain gender I hope it is not only in relation to the marriage candidates. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was only them but I think it could be kind of neat if for some reason you had to play as a certain gender to grant a wish even if it is not a romantic relationship. Like maybe one of the ladies in town just wants to have a female friend for once or something.

Also I love the fact that it seems like you can only grant one wish per game and that not all wishes take the same amount of time. It's going to be fun playing this game 30 times to get them all X3. Now I'm really curious as to whether there will be a new game+ sort of feature.

same here. especially cause that means there will be plenty of characters of both genders I like who I can feel free to befriend without fear of being pressured into getting married.

hey, tease or not, that'd make me happy. what pissed me off in ANB was that in the translation, if I was a boy dressed as a girl they all seemed to go out of their way to call me a boy, which gave me a lot of disphoria(as odd as that is) but that would end up going somewhere if I really wanted to continue after that(which I didn't and still don't) if I can play as a girl, be referred to as a girl, and get close to other girls even if it goes nowhere, that makes me happy. (and besides, getting married in these games always ends with kids. if there's no adoption/harvestgod blessing of a random baby there's little point in actually getting married) and as many LGBT people will tell you, we don't need marriage to prove our love. yes, we want it, yes, it helps a LOT, but it isn't needed to prove our love and in a game like this where we don't have to worry about sudden deaths, illnesses, taxes, and so on, it's not important. I'd be MORE than happy to be able to get as close to the girls as I could a boy, just without the actual wedding.

I guess I've been spoiled by pokemon, but I don't like the idea of gender-specific wishes. I like being treated the exact same regardless of my gender. if I never want to play as a boy, I'd never be able to see the storyline of some characters and that really sucks.
now, I could see there being special storylines or subendings to a story that you can only access as a particular gender, but if it was an entire storyline I'd be pretty mad, especially if it was someone I really wanted to get close to.

I'm pretty meh on that bit, since I rarely want to complete relationships with characters I have little to no interest in, but it depends on how I feel when I play the game as to how much I like that.
if I really like the file I have, I'm not going to want to delete it just to start over for someone else. if I get really close to someone I really like, I'm not going to want to start over and loose all that with them. but, if I get to a point that I get bored with the gameplay, I may like restarting for a whole new adventure.

I think it really depends on how many save files we have lol
