After consideration I think I'm going to go with Froakie.
Funny because he was my original choice in the first reveal; I loved Braixen which swayed me, but the more I look at Greninja the more cute he is :D And he's Dark subtype, right? More reason to go that route since it's my favorite typing. I'm glad it isn't Fighting!


Since I never had any feelings for Chespin whatsoever, I'm neutral on its reveal. Chesnaught is a cool name but other than that I don't care xP

Still going with Fennekin. Delphox looks like it's wearing a dress, but its design could be worse, and I still prefer it to the other two final evolutions. I'm also quite pleased to see that it's part Psychic.

Also very excited about the Mega Charizard X. About time they made that guy part Dragon-type!

When they first showed the starters I thought of getting Fennekin (I love fire starters) but as time went on and I saw the second evolution I thought of choosing Chespin (but grass starters have never really worked for me except Chikorita). But so I was going to choose Froakie (his second evolution I didn't like either so....). I'm going with Chespin, even though I may just barely use him. (I always get another Pokemon and they become my main Pokémon).


*Maybe using him will change on how I use Grass Starters?

Fennekin's final evolution looks too weird.
I'm not a huge fan of Chespin (looks more like a Digimon)
I guess I'll be picking Froakie and then Charmander or Bulbasaur.

If I get to play Pokémon, I'm likely to choose Froakie too. ^^ While Fennekin's evolution line looks cool, I'm not too big a fan of Psychic types, and I have yet to get used to Chespin's (his 3rd evolution is so far off from what I thought it'd be). I am considering Chespin if he has a diverse moveset (which Froakie will likely have).

I'll probably end up choosing Charmander next. I don't like repeating types on my team, and bulbasaur's line doesn't have diverse moves.

I'm probably the only one freaking out (in a good way) over these new Pokemon...I'm loving them all!!
I can't wait to use Malamar and Slurpuff on my team! Maybe Binacle, too, if it evolves.

back a couple months ago on corocoro it said that theres a new way to evolve pokemon and gengar's evolution chain is part of it maybe its has something to do with it or not its hard to say

They were probably talking about just Mega-Evolutoin. Which REALLY isn't an evolution, just an extravagant form change.

With how cute the Fairy Pokémon seem to be, my whole party will be Fairy with some with dual types. (Like Dedenne ).
