I was wondering which 2nd house up grade is better!!! I got the bigger room instead of the basement , and tomrrow Nook is going to finish the upgrade, and I was wondering which I should have gotten either:
The Basement or the Bigger room!!! Also is their any way to cancel an upgrade!?
You sure? Isn't whatever you get first around 350000 Bells, then the second is 49000? Anyhoo, bigger room IS the better choice. But true, your next upgrade will be the basement, like it or not.

the basement is definately cheaper than the second expansion, and that's why most people advise beginners to pay that one off first, but it doesn't really matter, cus in the end you'll still pay the same amount.
Yes you do, until you get the big house. You need that space!
But then, there's the solid gold statue of your character in front of the train station if you pay back the loan in full. Followed by a silver one, then a bronze one, then a jade one.
The statue isn't stupid, it's purty. Useless, yes, but then again, so is everytihng in the game if you don't play it. It's something to make you feel good about!
Why would you want a platinum statue? Sure, it's more valuable than a gold one, but it ain't as purty.
i pay it off anyways, but i dun like it. nothing will change if you get it. animals will still ask you 'have you paid off ur loan?' and stuff like that..
