Game Freeze and Random Event question

I recently tried to complete my recipe and shipping list as much as I could (buckwheat flour ) then went mining for the couple gems I couldn't ship. Tried saving before falling down a hole, reloaded it and the screen stayed black.

Good thing I had a backup save so I did the same thing but didn't save in the mines, tried to go to sleep and it froze with me in bed.

I reloaded the backup save again just trying to complete my recipe/shipping list and not going to the mines. It froze when I tried to save.

So I just gave up on completing lists and continue on with the game and it is still fine for now.


About random events, is there a complete list of confirmed events in the NA boy version without FoMT connected?
I'm tired of trying to trigger an event and not having it work. I've met all the requirements as said on the main site and tried to trigger it multiple times on multiple days but it looks like half of the events are missing from the game.

The mines are very glitchy, that's happened to me before. I think for some events you just have to keep trying, some of them don't activate for a while even if you have all the requirements. I'm guessing you've introduced yourself to the people in the events?

I think it was less about the mines being glitchy than it was that I tried to complete recipe/shipping lists.
I read on another site that having too much data in your save file can glitch it.

I have 255fp with everyone in the valley, 96 sprites and in year 7. I've tried triggering them in every condition but nothing works so I'm assuming that many events weren't ported from the Japanese version to the NA version.

It seems that the European version has most of the content intact during localization but they really cut corners on the NA version.
ex. Mermaid's Easy Life and Kate vs Hugh have confirmation for each version and I'm looking for something similar for every event

Check the back of your cart to make sure it's a legal copy.
