Is hoping I get lucky with Water Ruins mining the only chance I have early game for Bronze? I really want to get my tools upgraded. (I did get a hold of one piece, and used it to upgrade my hammer.)

On that note, better hammers are more likely to give you better ores, correct?

Better hammers and higher mining skill are what determine the kind of ores you end up chalking up. So yes.

One more tip :: Don't forget to charge. It increases success rate. Like when I mine in one dungeon, I have more chances of getting diamonds of I charge up the hammer.

Thank you very much for that! I honestly had no idea that improved ore quality.

I read that characters will start going on missions with you once they have 3LP, but when I ask them to go with me, they still refuse. What am I doing wrong?

Check your savepoint in your room, you might have a sub-event activated and not know it. If it doesn't say anything, the next day make sure to talk to every single villager to try and activate it. Especially Meg (if you're playing Frey) she might want you to come over for a sleepover that evening.

When there is a sub-event activated that uses the person/people you are trying to have go with you, they will refuse until it's completed.

Edit: If it's Doug, then you're out of luck until you finish the 2nd arc of the game.

hhhhh does anyone know where i can get a palm claw or where rocks that have silver are, since each dungeon has different mineables? i need them for dual blades and gloves but i don't know where either material is.

Best bet is probably the dungeon after Obsidian, the underground cave in the forests. I've mined some silver there before iirc. If not, the lava cakes in the autumn region of Selfia.

Looking around on the Japanese wiki, and it says you get the Palm Claws (hopefully this is the same one I'm looking at, not 100% sure because of translation) from Palm cats (not sure what they are named in this version) but they seem to be everywhere.

I just finished Obsidian Manor. So far the dungeons have been really short and insanely easy. Please tell me there are more other than the ones the guardians are in and that they're harder. Or at least longer.

Difficulty starts ramping up a little bit in the 2nd arc, yes. First arc isn't that bad because they want you to get all of the characters.. or at least that's what it feels like.

Could always change your difficulty to hard if you're finding it too easy :D

I think you run into the palm cats in the autumn area and the lava cave first.

Like Kirie said, the first three dungeons aren't that difficult but it ramps up once you hit Yorkmir Cave right after you get Dolce into town. They're longer and have multiple floors as well. Second arc's dungeons are longer and much more difficult.
