yeah i always reset/reload when festival didn't turn out well....Ganhur wrote:Festivals become more difficult as each year passes.
You can also save before turning in the result. NPCs' points are always random, so reload until it favors you.
have read somewhere about that difficulties after years but honestly on 2nd year? iirc when my previous harvest festival in fall, others point always below 200.now they point never seems below 600.

Growing high level crops, and large ones, will get you a higher score, as will submitting something from the correct season. It's also best to enter something with a really long growth time. Large Crystal Flowers have high odds of winning even after the difficulty spike, and golden crops, especially in winter, are almost guaranteed to take first place.
I generally start by killing the plant part that heals it. Irritating thing. Then I whack the other two.Feena wrote:Helloo guuys! *new member desu* I got rf4 since the weekend, i'm at the end of my first spring and its also my first rf and i've been enjoying it really much.

I was leveling up in Yokmir Cave before I tried attacking it again. At first, I only dealt 10 damage after defeating it's monsters. Then, after around levels 80-90, maybe 100, I tried again, and it really helped. I also had better weapons, which I got from treasure chests and leveling up my forging level. I don't completely remember much, but I think I took Margaret with me; the first save file is where I'm playing as Lest, while the second one will be my Frey file. And yeah, the Rafflesia isn't exactly my favorite boss in the game, but I did whatever I could to prepare for the fight against it.Meriberry wrote:I generally start by killing the plant part that heals it. But when it comes to winning the Harvest Festivals, are seasonal crops the same as the ones in RF3? Also, I've been trying to get a level 10 crop, but I haven't had much luck with greenifier. Are there any other tips on how to get one?

Seasonal crops are so not the same. It still throws me off. Check the seed bags to see what seasons the crops will grow best in.
As for level 10, you're going to need a good sickle to reach that. Crops stop dropping higher level seeds on their own pretty early on, and won't really take to Greenifier after a while either, but sickling them should still produce higher level seeds.
