They do level up at the shop by that method tho you have to unlock them for the seeds to be sold... I don't think they die but they do turn brown like every day if the HP is 0 xD I always watered them tho so idk for sure what happens to trees when you leave them to wilt?Angelic wrote:Continuing on the tree topic, can you only raise their rank with greenifier? Or can I sell the high lv oranges and apples I've foraged for when the seeds unlock at the shop (assuming they eventually unlock at the shop)?
Do trees ever die if their HP doesn't hit 0?
To raise the level of tree seeds in the store shipping the fruits doesn't work, you have to ship the seeds. The fruits will always be sold only at level 1.
You unlock them by doing Eliza requests. They require you to harvest 20 oranges, 50 apples and 50 grapes. The tree related requests appear after you do "Harvest 12 (types of) veggies!".

I actually didn't realise strong vine's were that rare, I have quite a few of them. Try fighting the Planchoa (Looks like a purple pink spinning flower) on Maya road.Anonymous Fish wrote:How rare is a "strong vine"? I have been fighting Flower Blossoms on Sercerezo Hill for quite some time and haven't had a single one drop....

Does Bado sell any weapons stronger than the long sword with the 42 attack power and the spear with the 43 attack power?
Does Bado sell any armor that has more defence power than Iron Shield, Vest, Blue Ribbon, Venti's Charm, and Leather Shoe/Boot?
What is the best tactic to fight and defeat the 3rd boss in the Obsidian Mansion?
Besides the wool giving wooly, the milk giving Buffamoo, the egg giving cluckadoodle, and the honey giving hornet/bee, are there any other monsters that can live in a barn and give you farm items to sell?
What did it mean, when I seen those skull faced ghost clouds rising up from the ground?
How long does the request box keep talking to the main hero character?
Is there a way that I can unlock a swimsuit for my main heroine? I've seen Summer 1st, and everyone was in their swimsuit except for me.

I am aware I can find them in Maya road easy enough, but I was hoping to take advantage of upgrades sooner for Idra cave. Thank you though...Kail-chan wrote:I actually didn't realise strong vine's were that rare, I have quite a few of them. I know the sticky says that the Flower Blossoms have them but I wonder if that is a mistake....
No idea about Bado's shop, but you should start crafting your gear. The equipment he sells is overpriced. The only item worth buying is Magic Charm.Bryght Knowledge wrote:Does Bado sell any weapons stronger than the long sword with the 42 attack power and the spear with the 43 attack power?

For Marionetta, one of the best tactics is throw the tables and chairs at her
A few other monsters give items. I don't have a list but you can check the wiki monster page, http://therunefactory.wikia.com/wiki/Monsters_%28RF4%29
You can keep doing request as long as you want, the "ship, kill, give" ones don't end. If you mean the main ones, there are 92 of them.
You need to buy a closet from the general store to be able to change clothes. Probably need to pass an order so that they start to sell furniture, but don't remember it too clearly.

I'll try my best to answer your questions further!Bryght Knowledge wrote:Does Bado sell any weapons stronger than the long sword with the 42 attack power and the spear with the 43 attack power?

1 and 2. Bado does sell higher attack/defense weapons/accessories. However, I'm not sure at what point he does. I'm nearing the end of the second arc, and he's selling some high-powered stuff. Your best bet is to raise your forging level.
3. Marionetta is also weak to light-type magic, so I'd recommend bringing someone who can use that magic.
4. The chipsqueek family of monsters gives fur, and the wolves give fangs. From what I've read, the buffaloo gives a horn, the thunderbird produces feathers, the Fairy (but not the Dark Fairy) produces Fairy Dust, ants produce carapaces and other insect-related drops, beetles produce horns, spiders produce thread, scorpions produce scorpion tails, flower monsters produce flower-related drops, and mushroom monsters produce spores and powders.
5. You'll have to elaborate on what you mean; I'm not sure what you're referring to.
6. Eliza keeps talking to you as long as you have requests.
7. To unlock the swimsuit, you have to use your prince(ss) points to get a clothing merchant to come. The merchant will move in just outside of Selphia. The merchant sells the swimsuit.

Yes, if you order bargain sale via order sign, he would sell random high leveled stuff. They are really expensive, though; it's better to craft them by your own.Bryght Knowledge wrote:Does Bado sell any weapons/armor....
Equip your best weapon and armors you have access to, bring villagers who can heal you like Nancy or Clorica. Also, you may want to use rune abilities or spear since fighting short range is not preferable.Bryght Knowledge wrote: What is the best tactic to fight and defeat the 3rd boss in the Obsidian Mansion?
A lot, actually: (taken from RF4 wiki - summarized here)Bryght Knowledge wrote:...are there any other monsters that can live in a barn and give you farm items to sell?

Until you finished all quests available.Bryght Knowledge wrote:How long does the request box keep talking to the main hero character?
Unlock the clothing shop via order sign and buy the swimsuit. The clothing shop is outside the town's gate, then go to the right. There should be a shed there. You should also have bought a dresser from Blossom via store expansion, otherwise you can't change your clothes.Bryght Knowledge wrote:Is there a way that I can unlock a swimsuit for my main heroine? I found my answer looking through an old GameFAQs topic. Thanks anyway, guys ^^"Angelic wrote:Continuing on the tree topic, can you only raise their rank with greenifier? For anyone interested: Turns out you use your scythe on a tree (fully grown w/ fruit), just like you would a crop! Crazy. Levels up the same way.

Right now, I'm fighting in the Obsidian Mansion, so I have questions.
Why doesn't the zwigwiller long sword work against the smaller slime monsters in the mansions?
Is there anything better than the recovery potions that I could rely on to regain both health and rune powers?
Is there a Cure rune magic spell somewhere?
Where do I get other types of magic abilities?
Is it better to rely on physical battling or on using magic abilities when walking through the Obsidian Mansion?

Does your sword have an elemental affinity? Some monsters are resistant, immune to, or even recover when attacked with certain elements. If I had to guess, your weapon has a dark affinity. A weapon with any other affinity (or none at all) would work just fine. You can remove an affinity from a weapon by upgrading it with an elemental crystal of any other affinity.
Food is used to recover RP (and HP). There are better potions for restoring health, but you might not be far enough to access them yet.
There are three levels of cure magic. When you beat the boss of the mansion, you can find the first cure spell by exiting the mansion from the room where you fight her. Magic is just sort of found everywhere, so keep your eyes peeled for chests in seasonal areas and dungeons. Some spells later in the game will be in hidden rooms.
It doesn't really matter if you use magic or weapons-whichever works best for your fighting style is what I'd advise. Some later spells are real handy, but if all you want is the bonus of using a certain element of magic against a monster, you can upgrade your weapon to have an affinity for that element. There's only a few monsters in the game that are better off fought with magic (like the turtles or golem bosses) so it's good to have a spell on hand, but you don't usually need to take down a lot of monsters that way.
